Hope everybody is practising "F*** off Belgium,we all voted Leave" for tomorrow!:lolol:

Which ironically FIFA have warned against England fans chanting anti-EU chants at the match tomorrow. The FA could be punished if it does happen. Now if that isn't a red rag to a bull !

Of course Americans wouldn’t give up control of immigration at its borders.
Neither would they be happy if their Supreme Court was no longer supreme or some law making abilities were lost away from Washington to Ottowa, Mexico City, Brussels or anywhere else. They can talk the talk, and by Christ don’t they, but they would never recommend to their own American people that its United States should join a political Union such as The EU, no matter where its geographical location is or what name it went by

You do realise that the United States is a collection of former nation states combined into a federation?

I will ask you the question, if the ball was on the other foot, would Americans except free movement of people from South America?

Wow, so the map doesn't give you any clue as to why your question is so moronic.
Perhaps you just can't help yourself.

It's ok to be wrong about stuff.

Which doesnt change the fact those United States would not join a transnational political union such as the EU, or even have the nerve to recommend such a thing to its own citizens. The devolved powers individual states have of regulating intrastate commerce at differing levels would alone be widely refused by the population if those powers were lost to a central executive such as the EU.

Yet more posturing in the Tories, this time its Lizz Truss (i really had thought she'd know better) having a dig at her own party policies and Michael Gove's environmental policies. Party unity is these desperate times seems non existent, all out for themselves

Except you're looking at it the wrong way. The USA is like the EU. People in Galveston are happy their laws are made in Washington, not Austin. They're more than happy in Salt Lake City that the Supreme Court in Washington trumps them (pardon the pun). The USA IS a political union, a massive one far larger than the EU would ever hope to be. And they all have freedom of movement within it.

One should always be informed on European matters, you should give it a try sometime. Its not information easily forgotten when learned.

Bestiality doesn't interest me, but each to their own and I shouldn't be surprised though - I always had you down as an avid 'Horse and Hound' reader.

If the Tories get this wrong it really be like Labour's winter of discontent but x10 worse

You are showing why so many, even on here, are more interested in smashing the Tories than Brexit. A sizeable number of remainers don’t give a toss about the EU or the countries interests, they have cottoned on that if they prioritise politicising Brexit by attacking the Tories or even Corbyn they can hopefully make political ground even if it is at the countries expense.
Rise of the Weasels.

If you think my question was moronic, fine.

It kind of was though wasn't it? The clue is in the name of the country. It is called The United States of America. The flag has 13 lines for the origina states and 50 stars for the current 50 states. They have once central government but the states have their own variations of the law. For example in Nevada you can gamble, In some you can open carry weapons etc. The USA is basically the EU on steroids - they even have one currency like the EUro. Comparing the USA joining with South America is like saying Africa is going to join the Euro. Different continents.

The Tories don't need others to smash them, they do it to themselves as Welsh Tory leader quits after 7 years

Sadly I fear that (you would think unnecessary) explanation will fall on deaf eyes.

But would people in Galveston be happy some of their laws were made in Brussels not Washington. Would the people of Salt Lake be happy the Supreme Court in their country can be trumped on domestic issues by another supreme court in a different country, would they be happy if the freedom of movement they enjoy internally was extended internationally……...would they hell.
The UK is a political union too, it doesn’t relate that this automatically means you would want to be in a much larger transnational political union by default.
This is why its you looking at it the wrong way……..not everyone thinks like you.

Ah, but if the ball was on the other foot, if you asked to Australia have freedom of movement with Africa, what would they say :lolol:

Is America in a Common Travel Area with a neighbouring foreign country like Canada at all though? Thought not. It's got a land border with a developing country instead though. Still, I can see the similarities with The UK by way of a comparison .
