Initially I might have said YES but realising how I truly felt when Gaetan got booed at the weekend my stance is NO - We can't hold the ''Moral High Ground'' on that issue and then in the same breath lower ourselves to the level of the Burnley fans

If we take Jay's word for it then he still admitted that he called out player smelly. That's really mean. No one wants to be smelly.

I would adapt OutKast's 2003 Mega-hit 'Roses'

I know Jay likes to think his breath don't stink
But lean a little bit closer
See Rodriguez really smells like poo-poo-oo
Yeah, Rodriguez really smell like poo-poo-oo

On the contrary, every BHA fan should use the hand gestures that Rodriguez used towards Bong and yell "something stinks on the pitch" whenever JR touches the ball.

Mmmm did you heckle Pritchard when he played for Norwich in the thrashing? Quite sure 99% of the home fans did that afternoon.

Talk about miss the point.

It's not a debate about booing a player, per se: that's always gone on for all sorts of deeply partisan football reasons. Binning off one club for bigger money elsewhere might well be understandable, but Pritchard was always going to get stick for that. It's not remotely the same as booing a man because he dared to make an allegation against one of your favourite local sons.

Me, I guess Rodriguez might have got some stick prior to this business with Burnley fans and Bong, but I suspect we should probably take the moral high ground now and leave him alone when he next plays here.

Won't happen, of course. He'll get booed (by the same people who sing "xxx is a shit-hole, I wanna go home" and "we pay your benefits" at every away game, obviously).

That still makes him better than a woman though in your book.

:) :) Memory like an elephant.

For the record, I apologise for my previous misdemeanour and now believe I was wrong. I have been shown the light by a very recent encounter with a truly exceptional lady. I am a fool, I prostrate myself at the feet of my betters.

I agree with you on that because I think it's an absolute given he will be booed.

The thing is the Burnley fan who phoned 606 said, football fans will always try to find a way to get at an opposing player if they feel it will give an advantage. I predict he will be the new Scott Mcgleish. Unless as Bozza says, we sign him, which we won't, will we?!!

Can you start a "Would you support the club signing Jay Rodriguez?" poll in a few hours please? Should keep things ticking along nicely when other threads start getting quiet.

This.
Everytime he's on the ball etc.
Shout out 'Haha'

Better that, just get the people on the loudspeaker to play this everytime he's on the ball.

I'd boo him because of his classless twitter bullshit saying he was proven innocent and 'the truth came out' etc - the way he's handled himself. Not because he may or may not have said something racist. But the waters just get murky now don't they, so it's a tough one.

I might boo him if he came on or when his name is announced at the start.

Every time he touches it? Probably not bother.

I knew a lady who could do exceptiopnal things with a prostate too, although that was in Amsterdam and cost me €50.
