Lifetime ban for Derby fan over abusive tweet

I'm sure some Derby fans were given banning orders for homophobic comments at the Amex one year.

Saying that though, out of all the midland clubs i have always found Derby fans decent.

Two of our recent visits have seen Solly March being booed and abused for 'timewasting' whilst being carried off (and out of the game for 9 months), Connor Goldson racially abused whilst sat in the stands, and Leo Ulloa jostled and mocked by fans on the pitch, when trying to applaud our travelling fans.

I was referring more to do with interacting with Derby fans. You can walk into any pub without hassle. Always found them a good bunch.

Don't forget our fans mocked Murray when he done his cruciate at Palace. We are no angels ourselves.

Also i love Pride park. It's a superb stadium

He's being banned from ever watching his football club again not being locked up for life.It would give him something to think about if his picture was put up around the city so people can see what a vile piece of sh*t he is. A few chanted, until they realised it was a serious injury and not a dive for a free kick. I was there.
Derby fans booed Solly whilst he was being carried off on a stretcher, over five minutes later. Calde was booed for changing his shirt with blood on it, at the sidelines (so not timewasting) from a stray Derby elbow.

Anybody's wife, girlfriend, sister or other relative on here that has lost a child through a miscarriage or a serious illness will feel enraged by that 'human' taunting Billy Sharp and will feel the punishment is justified. However some people on social media just crave the attention and don't know where to draw the line. I think there should have been a different way of dealing with him. What that is I'm not sure. A very heavy fine and an education course on early life bereavement perhaps?

This only deprives the low-life of watching 'his club'. The "murderers get less" type remark is silly, comparing prison to a club ban.

The troll will still have his liberty and can watch all football away from Derby.

We sat with young Albion teenagers in the home Derby game in May 2016, very close to the Derby fans, in the SE corner. They were the only available tickets.

All were shocked at the hatred towards Brighton fans, by pissed Derby blokes age say 50 to 55. Openly homophobic and they tried to get across the material to a 75 year old Brighton fan who told them to shut up. Even their own wives were appalled, trying to get them to pipe down. The pissheads next target was to kick up a fuss big time to get the 75 year old guy kicked out of our section.

They were my favourite East Midlands club until those events.

A lifetime ban is not without appeal. There is nothing to stop him from, sending a heartfelt apology to the Sharps. Writing a public letter of apology and making a donation to a relevant charity, all of which might demonstrate he has truly reflected on what he has done.
