Is it that few? More than 300 runs a day at over 3 runs an over? It's not a batting paradise but that's just about par for the Championship.

What's more interesting is that no-one has passed 50 yet ... even though nearly all have reached double figures. That's very unusual to see.

Perhaps you're right, it just felt very sluggish. Just feel on two hot days, small quick outfield that you'd be looking at a few more. Briggs bowled excellently, he must be a captains dream in that he can hold an end down in such a way.

Here comes the collapse...

WICKET: Luke Wells goes for 43 to a full-length ball from Pillans that kept low. Sussex 83-2, lead of 64.
WICKET: Finch is pinned in his crease by McKay and goes lbw for 18. Sussex 87-3 lead by 68.

Wright's first scoring shot, only a FOUR. Disappointing.

Was hoping he'd get off the mark with a SIX for the third successive innings.

According to BBC Sport liuve scores today is day 3 of 4 but I think they are wrong which would leave another day to get the required 6 wickets. Have just noticed it is dated 5 July so today is the last day, so the answer will be fizzle out to another draw.,

It IS day 3 of 4, but Sussex are batting, not Leicestershire! Why would we be trying to 'get the last 6 wickets'?

We are batting towards a declaration, and will then have 3.5 sessions to take all ten Leicestershire 2nd innings wickets.

Day 3 of 4 so will we take the remaining 6 wickets or will they hold out for a draw?

We are batting towards a declaration, and out in the sun.will then have 3.5 sessions to take all ten Leicestershire 2nd innings wickets.

Sorry I misread it and thought Sussaex had declared and that we lead Leicester by 330 with them having 6 wickets remaining. Sorry must stop drinking Kopperberg sat outside in the sun.
