Buzzer is one of the most eloquent and interesting posters on this board when he puts his mind to it and an admitted and loud One Nation Tory.

Ha! Sounds like my old teachers at school. "Can do it when he puts his mind to it". I've no qualms about arguing politics with anyone but there is a self-righteousness with some on the left and many on social media who think that they have the moral and ethical high ground by being a leftie. I've no problem with that but when it manifests itself like this (which it often does) and when Tory posters are defaced (hundreds of examples of this) then I think Bozza is spot on with his shy Tory analysis.

You're right. If she'd just bought them all she'd have a year's supply of bog roll

Your assumption on how the gained those goods says more about you than them.

You what?

Where did I say how I thought they got them? I just said people who have stuff to show off are able to do so without Facebook.

You thought a Tory voter calling the left "thick as shit snowflake absolutists" sums up why people are shy Tories nicely? Caitlin Moran is just the left's answer to Katie Hopkins.

And of course when the Tory press and politicians heap vile abuse on Corbyn that appears to be allowed.

No, it's not. But the left wing press do it to May that's not either. And I'm happy to accept that there is more right wing press than left.

But the point I keep trying to make is nothing to do with the press, it's to do with us, the voters.

I do genuinely believe, from what I see around me, that there is a demonisation of Tory voters from some on the left, that is just not replicated (at least not in the same volume and level of spite and disdain) in the other direction.

Of course it's not. No-one wins in this silly game of whataboutery. One of the reasons politics is getting ever more divided is this attitude that if people have a different view that they are bad people. The press do it to Labour and social media lefties do it to Tory/Ukip/Brexit voters.

Facts were produced on Corbyn/McDonnell/Abbott regarding IRA, MI5 and opposing all anti terror legislation. Even cornered McDonnell said it was mistake that he had signed the document calling for the end of our security services.

Moran is just being being abusive, which smacks of desparation and a loser getting her abuse in early.

There are times when you've genuinely made me think differently is all I really meant. Obviously no one can do that every post.

I said earlier on one of the many election threads that Moran is the left's answer to Katie Hopkins and they probably have as much success as each other in turning people to their "side". 90% of each's followers will lap up every word and the other 10% will be trolling them.

Likewise matey. Always enjoyed your take on things and of course your football blogs. Yep, Moran and Hopkins are cut from the same cloth. I'd add David Schneider to that too. Just plays to the gallery.

You're absolutely spot on. I've no issue with calling out any of those three on what they've said and done in the past but in fairness I think Theresa May got off very lightly with her personal abuse of Corbyn. And when someone pretended to be Seumas Milne and emailed Diane Abbott, I think that's beyond the pale too. I wish it didn't happen but I wish for a lot of things!

Ah, the passive aggressive chord of despair.

No, they weren't a 'disaster'. They were no better and no worse than any other administration. They made mistakes, by their own admission, but they also got things done. It's just lazy, meaningless outer-suburban blubber from you.

The inner city Labour Party and their supporters despise the Green Party, and to this day condemn their administration of our city as a disaster.

Forget about the temporary truce at the moment, purely to deliver non-Tory MP's.

Are you aware of the goings on politically in Brighton and Hove over the last ten years?

It was a disaster! I've never got a satsfactory answer from any Green supporter on why recycling got worse under their rule and it was bad before that! You'd think with all of the talent available at their disposal that the Green Party would have at least put a top notch recycling policy in place.

Brighton / Hove actually
Of course it is his only his opinion. In the same way that you are of the opinion he should not have bothered to spoil his paper. Reasons I’m thinking of spoiling my paper:

1) None of the candidates deserves my vote
2) I have no other way of showing that none of the candidates deserve my vote
3) Failing to vote altogether just shows apathy – I am not apathetic towards deciding who should run the country but I am appalled at the choice of candidates

What is wrong with apathy?
