Murray and Baldock are class, but Murray is no spring chicken. I hope the club will buy two proven strikers to augment them as our four this summer. I can't see Hemed scoring PL goals but he's been vital for us at this level.
Hemed and Murray will score goals, but as you say the attacking system needs to be properly locked down, and not fudged like every other year.

442 will be limited throughout the season.
The 'don't lose' formation will need to be solid.

One things for sure, they'll be no room for passengers.

Against good opposition, my preference is a 5 man midfield to win the crucial battle. 2 upfront only works if one can help win that battle.

Agree too about passengers. Some harsh culling this Summer I think.

if not the 4-2-3-1, i quite fancy the 3-5-2 formation that chelsea play. Can see 4-4-2 getting over run in midfield, we've got an abundance of quality centre half's who can make a first class 3, add 2 quality defensive wing backs and with the way baldock drops into midfield, we could be a 5-4-1/3-6-1 without the ball and 3-5-2/3-4-3 with it

Absolute bollocks, the near unanimous opinion was he was an excellent signing for the first year or so.
Correct. There weren't many slating him in that first season when CMS's performances were decent enough without pulling up any trees. He scored about 13 compared to Murray's 8 or whatever, including some very well taken goals (Leeds at home, Burnley away). Sadly he got worse and worse and ultimately proved woefully out of his depth. By last season he looked like a league two striker at best.

Murray has been brilliant for us this season the 3m gamble in January has paid off big time! I do feel that Hemed, Baldock & Murray may find life in the Premier League a tad tougher we will need to make some shrewd purchases!

I liked the comment Holloway made that If he was manager of QPR when Murray became available he would have walked to Bournemouth to sign him!

Only scores goals in last year of his contract and disrespected the fans who'd been advising him to leave his wife by chanting "Ditch the bitch" when we played at Brentford by refusing to clap them.

He's still slightly below Fred West in my eyes.

Baldock's got to play first.
One things for certain - we'll not bully any team playing H&M, they'd all just laugh in our faces.

A little part of me does wonder if all the justified praise for Baldock this season would be quite so heartfelt if the club had bought a like for like replacement/back up.
SB has been great, scoring great goals and working his nuts off, but is it the player or the position?

My main man Shane Duffy has taken a little dip in my eyes, with Uwe not only playing his position well but possibly even keeping Dunk's emotions in check.

I personally can't see a strike force of Baldock/Murray/hemed getting the goals needed between them.

Murray was poor for Palace and Bmuff in PL - but this team is set up to give him chances
Rubbish.

Murray is in top 20 goals for mins in last four years in the prem.

In my opinion, we will need to buy two strikers, a PL class player who can hold up the ball and have strength against PL CB's, and another Baldock type with pace. To join GM and SB as our four strikers. I can't see TH scoring against PL defences.

This won't come cheap, but is needed, not least for injury/bans cover. Look at the PL table - Boro and Mackems simply can't score and are bottom by a long way. Whereas the teams above them may not have good defensive records, but they score goals.

Rubbish. Loads of fans who were at Withdean week after week, loved Murray's football, and were gutted he left.

It wasn't a binary choice of Murray or CMS, that was a propaganda line trotted out by Poyet when under pressure on the issue much later.

They may have been gutted he left but when we signed CMS they were more than happy with how things had turned out. That's my point. We know we got the crap end of that deal but that's not the point I'm making. IF I could be arsed I'd find the threads and the comments made by certain people on here and highlight their change of opinions.

I think that Murray will be ok for us in The Premier but have my doubts about whether Hemed will be good enough as I see Murray doing the Hemed bench role
