Again he's been mostly crap for months. He had a great run at the end of last season. But there's a reason Leicester and liege let him go. He's good but too inconsistent.

Still love him but; he ain't the Messiah that everyone has him pinned as.

Hopefully he will stay if we don't go up

...but base that opinion on facts... Leicester offered him a contract but that was when Knockaert's father was first ill, so he turned them down to go to Belgium, because his parents live very close to the Belgian border.

'I loved it there but I didn't deserve to be treated how I was last season in terms of playing games,' Knockaert said. 'I thought I deserved better. That is why I wanted to leave.'

I thought Ipswich doubled up on him really well and never allowed him to settle. He's been immense the past few games, the other players owed him something tonight and they didn't deliver

Similar to Kaz in some ways in that he tried too hard on occasion when a simple pass was on, however, I know who I would rather have on my team.
He's been magnificent for us this season, keep the faith!

Well, any claims of deity come from others and not him.

He is a very capable and at times outstanding player at this level. I'm happy we've got him.

I've never seen him as the Messiah. But to talk of why others let him go- Leicester City wanted him to stay and Liege cashed in on a bad move for both club and player.

Still nobody current I'd rather watch in an Albion shirt than Knocky. Even on an off-night, he's got more class touches than anybody else on the pitch.

I lost count at the amount of times I shouted at Stephens for losing the ball.

He likes to get his foot on the ball and dictate the play, Ipswich closed down and didn't allow him to do that. I think Kayal on top form protects Stephens better than Sidwell, even though Sidwell was mom tonight. I think other players didn't give him that protection and March did little or no covering and both March and knocky were too narrow when in possession. Funny thing is I think Bong big makes a big difference. We strangely conceed a lot more goals without him. Odd.

I sort of agree that he needs guidelines and instruction sometimes but if you do that you potentially lose some of his magic moments. Its a difficult balancing act with players like that.

His first instinct is to play like a 10 year old in a school yard but that's not always productive but on the occasions that it is then that's what gets the fans purring when they watch him

Do you really think he doesn't recognise it ? I think someone in the game as long as him sees everything that everyone else sees and more.

It's just that history tells us that when the team is struggling to create chances that the most likely opening is going to come from a moment of magic from Tony. I always think Knockeart plays sporadically but I still concede he is often the most likely to open a team up.

I think so. He was probably our most productive of the attacking nine that were on the pitch. Several penetrating runs, and a couple of good crosses too (his crossing has been awful of late, but not tonight).

I think, looking at performances on the night that March was offering a heck of a lot more than Knockaert and should not have been subbed and thus, yes, Hughton got it wrong.
