Stand on chair is correct answer for a good number of c.6-12 year olds... brings them up to about the right height (depending on how tall they are of course...!!) ...

Blimey, if most 12 year old stood on a seat in front of me,i wouldn't see a thing.





That said, I don't mind kids going away, as long as they get their round in

There was some talk that the home disabled supporters behind us couldn't see, but I think they overdid this a little, it was only a small part of bloke where you could argue they needed to sit down, not the whole block. Suspect they didn't need to make so many sit down. And I'd question why disabled supporters are stuck in the corner behind away supporters anyway. Very odd.

First time I've seen it at away games where someone has been asked to stop their child standing on a seat and I go to the majority. I used to do it all those years ago too when I went with my dad.

I have seen it before, and that was the reason given.

This will sell out to away fans, so we won't need any promotions like this to fill our allocation. As it will be a sell out everyone will be standing so won't really be a child friendly environment as they won't be able to see.[

It's just a feeling but I'm guessing you don't have children.

Guess it depends on where abouts in the away section you are. Can't say I or the fans I go with have had any trouble with the Forest stewards before.

I won't go back there. I went about 10 years ago, and a steward stood in front of me for the majority of the game. I don't pay good money to stare at a stewards backside.

I've seen worse. Rotherham away last season, for example.

My child is 6'5" and still growing. It's the people behind him who won't be able to see!

I think it has improved for the last few visits. What the stewards do seem to do is to make a concerted effort to make everyone sit down just after the start of each half. Then they give up after everyone gets up again. They are seen to have tried to do their job, and we get to stand for most of the game. Win-Win.

Anyone remember another game at Forest a few years ago at night when they had another cheap admission deal?
Loads of their kids, Mexican wave going all the way round the ground until it got to us, where we all gave a double-handed, limp wristed wave.
Lost 3-2 but Nathan Jones scored a beauty with his RIGHT foot.

Exact;y my words to five stewards at Loftus Road last season. They don't stand in line against the front wall in the home end so why do it in the away end. I emailed QPR and will send a reminder before we go their in April. That'll tell 'em

Forest stewards are the worst in the league, we were 4 rows from the back last year and were made to sit down. My uncle was also threatened with being kicked for letting my 6 year old cousin stand on his seat at the game that Casper let the ball through his legs [emoji85]Generally they are more lenient the further round toward the goal you are, the seats nearer the Brian Clough end do block disabled supporters views which is poor design but it means they are incredibly strict with it.
Hope this one goes to general sale as I've not missed a game here in years but can see it selling out beforehand unfortunately.

I'm not saying that kids are not welcome, but with this being a fixture which will very likely sell out to STHs then it will be a game where I'd estimate 95% will be stood up (Middlesbrough last game of the season, Forest under Oscar) so little children won't be able to see anything.



Well no not everybody, 95% will though.

The problem being that a large number of those standing will only be doing so because those in front of them are. It's caused by a few selfish people who think everyone should do what they want. The recent questionnaire on safe standing proved that 95% of our supporters do NOT want to stand!
