He is amazing. My favourite manager in over 25 years of watching (even above Steve Gritt). He has so much dignity to behave like that in key goals. He keeps himself in check while the whole bench are leaping around!

You can see why he gets the 'boring' tag from some quarters, but he is coolness and calmness personified. Even when people try to have a laugh and joke with him the in press conferences, he never lets his guard down.

It seems like he is full of respect for the opposition, as well as being SO focussed on the game, all that comes out is a mini-explosion of joy, before getting back to the matter at hand. Like others, I really hope he goes for it once promotion is secured, but if there still a chance of winning the title, I doubt it :)

Ha, just noticed the Brum fan on the right hand side following our winner. Looks gutted.
He probably consoled himself thinking:-

'Oh well we will probably win the next game'...

...oh.

That, sir, is nothing short of MAGNIFICENT

And must be projected on to the side of the Amex if we go up.

I like the fact that he pronounces "any" as "Annie".

I don't even know why this pleases me, but it does.

It's the sort of thing you love about a new beau, but come to hate if the relationship sours. However, my relationship (and it is one) with Chris Hughton will never sour.

Chris Hughton has a great sense of humour too.

Here's Chris at his son's fancy dress birthday party:

If you haven't worked it out, he's dressed up as Mr T ( A team)

...and 'them' instead of 'those'.....'it's important we win them type of games'

He'd get flamed for posting grammar like that on here [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
And quite right too, we hold ourselves to higher standards here.
