I find the best way to solidify the sauce is to make the beans the last item in the frying pan. The combination of the sauce and the oil or fat means the beans have to be scraped out of the pan.

utter ballcocks. thats just a list of thing people have for breakfast. wtf is pancakes or fruit pudding doing there, and wtf is scrapple?

Scrapple is a kind of meatloaf made from left over bits of pig. I had it in Philadelphia once. It's a Dutch settler dish I believe. I personally thought it was OK but nothing special.

After eating beans the day before, the next morning i had terrible stomach pains and i was touching cloth.
I was in my car waiting for an office to open for a meeting, i had no choice but to run into the bushes and take a dump, as i stood up and turned round the beans were in a neat pile, undigested and still in their sauce, you could have put them back in the tin.
True story.

A burger is a big no-no with a breakfast.

Surely not as much of a no no as 'chips with tea' which apparently you get with the gut buster. Ketchup yes, brown sauce yes, mayo at a push but TEA ??

I like baked beans, but they come with too much of that horrible, watery sauce. Drain the sauce.

Do they have any role to play on a Full English.

Yay or Nay?

On a full English breakfast, yes, but the poll says Baked Beans in a Cooked Breakfast. Baked beans in a Kedgeree or Eggs Benedict would clearly not be the done thing.

The recipe for HP Brown has changed fairly recently due to USA health laws and I think the flavour has gone also.

That will probably change under Trump. I heard he was begging an Indiana company not to move several thousand jobs to Mexico. They make Whirlpool wash machines.

Beans always, along with bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. Chips if I'm at a cafe, black pudding too. I once worked with a guy who insisted that putting mustard on an English breakfast was quite normal. MUSTARD on a traditional English breakfast... oh how we ridiculed him.

Mustard is essential. Genuinely wouldn't enjoy a full English without it.

Beans are an occasional breakfast addition for me (usually when i have black pudding too).

Love coming back to the UK for the full english, you just can't beat it. Especially when you can have the royal treatment and include chips!!

Did you get a job as a coach driver in the Selhurst Park area?

It was a business meeting, I got there at 8.30 but the building did not open until 9am when the first person turned up for work.
It was an old country house converted into offices with a gravelly drive and rhododendrons all around.
I could not wait a second longer before I disappeared into the bushes but as I was crouching they all started to turn up some of them parked their cars no more than 6 feet from me.
When the coast was clear I did the cowboy walk into the offices to find a toilet and thats where I caught up with all the paperwork.

I love baked beans, whether in a fry-up or on toast lightly done. Tomato ketchup with salt and pepper essential.
