Where's this from? Can't see it on any news sites and I'd imagine it's not that straightforward. For a start, deportation orders are only applied for people who have been convicted of a crime attracting a 12 month + sentence and secondly, all EEA citizens have an automatic right to appeal. Can't see how this is going to happen

its been going on for years its not new.. just not advertised... they simply get sent home as they are not able to support themselves. no right of appeal straight to detention at gatwick then on a plane home.

The "EU nationals" (there's no such thing as an EU national is there?) that I normally see dossing on the streets in Brighton and London are people from the UK. Certainly the accents asking for money are usually British regional. Am I missing something?
