Come on Dallas, today will show where we really are even with a banged up Ben to play against

I didn't watch the game but I'd be wary of using us as a yardstick. Our defense is toilet (no pass rush, average secondary and a fitful run defense) and the offence is so much less than the sum of its parts.

Our 4-5 is about right. We might make the playoffs, the remainder of our schedule is friendly and I'm not sure anyone in the AFC North this year is up to much.

Don't suppose anyone watched the Titans/Packers game did they? What happened? Was Mariota good again?

Mariota threw 4 TD's, DeMarco Murray also threw for a TD to Delanie Walker

The sadness continues in Jacksonville, Gus Bradley now sits with a record of 14-42 with the Jaguars, the defence hasn't created a turnover in 5 straight games, an NFL record no less. It's unbelievable that this idiot still has a job and that Bortles has not been benched. The supposed 'franchise' quarterback recently said in an interview that he's "not a natural thrower of the ball". Awesome.

What's up with Matthews?
Dodgy niggling hamstring.

I've been listening to the Bill Simmons podcast this season, and they have an interesting take on the Packers.

The club seems to have a phobia about doing trade deals, banking on it's scouting and draft selections.
The one obvious problem with that and Rodgers being so good is that they don't draft until the mid 20's, at best.

It's been an open secret throughout the league, since training camp, that AR would need an MVP season just to get to the play offs.
The only thing in our favour is that the rest of the division have managed to actually still be worse.

It's a got to be particularly galling watching the previously hopeless Titans doing an impression of a half decent outfit.

This years QB draft class looks really light and the other sides in the running for first pick would all likely pick QB at 1.1, think you are stuck with him for another year, unless you take a wild punt at second round talent in the first round or get really lucky.

Giants meet the Bengals tonight – a flawed team, they have no running game and turn the ball over too often. But who would have believed in 2007 and 2011, with the position they were in after Week 10, that they would have gone on to take the Super Bowl. My prediction – a fourth straight win, with the Giants not allowing a Bengals TD.

Do you know what really is galling, the Jaguars coached the Senior Bowl and were really impressed with Prescott, and he was equally impressed with them. We made four picks before he was off the board :(
All of the recent high draft QB's have established themselves apart from Manziel, and sadly Bortles is heading in the same direction as Johnny Football.

If we had a secondary of any note, we would be further up too. All the, games we have lost have been pretty close, if only we could turn over the Colts next week - here's dreaming

Just watched the highlights. Blimey, looked like a cracking game although a bit to close for the G-men.

Sure and of course there was nothing to stop you guys taking Prescott but the popular consensus was Bortles had a decent year last year (though personally I thought this flattered him a bit.) But yeah, Dallas have done very well there.

Ah, you're a Titans man.

I ended up with Mariota in a couple of my fantasy leagues and have been very pleasantly surprised. Are his real life performances matching the fantasy numbers? It looks to the casual observer that he's developed better than Winston, who seems to only be able to beat up on bad teams and is prone to some very poor decision making.

Funnily enough I was hoping we would draft Bortles instead of Manziel....and I was also telling anyone who would listen that we should take Prescott in the middle rounds this year, after dropping out of the race for Wentz & Goff at the top end of the draft.
While I was reasonably happy with the way Kessler performed early on, it still bugs me that Prescott was still sitting there in Rd 3 & we passed on him.
Mind you, with our O-line this year he probably would've been on IR by now anyway....

Whilst the reality of this is true, everyone knew the Browns would be an absolute disaster zone, but Jackson has at least had them competitive in most of their games. We were tipped by many pundits and fans as an honest shout for the play offs, yet here we are with the season finished at 2-7.

Picked the Oilers for no particular reason when the NFL started on Ch4 in the 80's. Had some fun with Warren Moon and the run & shoot, and McNair/Wychek/George team, but slim pickings since then.

Mularkey is making a few people eat their 'exotic smashmouth' words this year, and his play calling and system seem to be helping Mariota when most thought it would make him go backwards. With the triple run threat of Murray, Henry and Mariota we are actually keeping the ball and moving the chains which has been a big problem previously. If he can just get a bit more consistency (loss to Colts & Chargers as examples) think we are on to a good thing.

This make an interesting read http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2675947-nfl1000-the-new-offense-nfl-defenses-cant-stop

Nice to actually been taken notice of for a change!

Talking of bad draft decisions..... Goff/LA Rams what has happened there?! Rams in big need of another QB and still won't play Goff, what's gone wrong for him?!

One of my favourite teams that Warren Moon/ Oilers outfit.

I will never forget watching this. Hated The Bills at the time as well. Ladies and gentlemen, it's 'The Comeback.'
