Just watched the MOTD Sunday morning repeat. So great to see two ex Albion strikers deal with Palace in such a painful way. Pardew looked a broken man in the post match interview - poor sausage.

Just watched the game on catchup. Great finish from Barnes - the camera then panned to Pardew and I thought he was about to burst into tears.

Great scenes.

palace are just keeping pace with the American owners expectations of a professional sport franchise.

Their NBA team the 76'ers are currently 0 - 5, backing up last season 10 - 72 record nicely.

One of only 3 teams not have not won a game this season.

Next 5 include away trips to Burnley, Swansea and Hull.

All HUGE relegation 6-pointers.
The first 6 pointer went well then [emoji38]ol:

Best of luck to Swansea and Hull in the next few games and for palace's tumble down the table to gather pace.

We're fast approaching a spectacular 12 months from our northern friends.
With it all being so well documented on NSC, surely it's time to get last years thread out of mothballs and splice the 2 threads together, in one titanic volume of abject failure and blind faith.

08.11.15 palace beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.
They moved up to 8th in the Premier League, 2 points out of 5th 5 points away from the mythical 4th place.

The decline in results is also seeing the decline in support, once back into the Championship they will be back to their normal 15K support.

Nonono. They are all fiercely loyal and they most definitely dont get new fans when in the prem absolutely not.

15k? They got 11k for their first game against us in about 5 years in the first season we were at Amex! I think their general home fans average was usually below 10k

:clap: I just love this post, Oh and the fact Ashley Barnes got the winner to push you down to fifteenth , makes it all the more special.

Yes I guess after Jules frustrated him in the "Poogate" game he felt he had to get one back. Took it well I must admit.

You do treasure your little moments of Scadenfreude, do't you? Are you going to put his face on the website alongside Lingard's?

There's nowt funnier than watching fans goading the home support after an equaliser, and then the same fans running for the exits to the chant of "who the f**king hell are you" when you score a late winner.

The last time I went to the AMEX the home fans were running for the exit after 70 minutes! Accompanied by the usual "Cheerios"..
