The choice is pay up or feck off which is not actually a choice if you are interested in attending matches.

It's £42 for a seat in the East upper.

Which is very expensive but not the cheapest price. The cheapest price should be affordable and then if people want to pay more (for whatever reason) then fair enough.

With 4 weeks to go, we could possibly be looking at top of the league, Villa is a big game, I think the club have just gone for easy money from 500 Villa fans, instead of selling to Albion fans.

Villa got about 18% of capacity at Reading on Tuesday, taking just over 4,300 fans. As the crowd was still 2,500 short of capacity it clearly wasn't a problem. Although Reading is a much easier journey from Birmingham, it was midweek. Our game is scheduled for a Saturday and I would suggest that they could easily bring that number or more to us, given the availability of tickets.

I imagine we've given them a large allocation so that on the last day of the season, when we go up there to celebrate promotion, they reciprocate.

Let's put it another way - I'm not bothered. I accept some clubs charge more and some less. Although I would love to see the cost of watching football come down, but then the same applies to transport costs to get to/from matches be they home or away. I would love the cost of booze to come down when I drink before and after games.

The reality is that going to football matches can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be. I go and support the Albion both home and away because I love doing it. If cost was an issue then I would reduce the number of matches I attend, or choose cheaper modes of transport, or (God forbid!) lessen my alcohol intake.

Nothing in life is ever perfect but at least you can make choices. Mine is going to watch my football club, and in the grand scheme of things I find it satisfying and very enjoyable. You can't put a price on that.

Are you sure what about that Newcastle we played them twice in the FA Cup ? I thought we have only played Arsenal once in the FA Cup, I could be wrong

A guy at work has been told he has to move seats for the game to allow for the extra allocation.

To be fair his seats are complimentary so he can't complain!

10% of the Amex capacity is 3,075. I hardly think an extra 125 ticket allocation is going to cause World War III. Besides it could well be that the total away allocation of 3,200 is logistically suited to ensure that all sections in the South Stand are filled with the minimum amount of seats used as a segregation barrier.

Correct, but a moot point anyhow.

The minimum we have to offer is the LOWER of 10% or 2000.

I think if we reached the promised land it will be the lower of 10% or 3000. All this means is those that are not STH's will have to be very quick off the mark to secure a seat for a big game

Lost 2/1 first time with Leo scoring his first (I think) from a lovely Barnes cross.
Then 3/2 with the rarity of a COG goal ..he was subsequently perceived as a 'good player' for about two weeks

We lost both 3-2, Barnes and Ulloa scored in the first game. COG and Baldock in the second.
