Skalak and Murphy at this current moment are looking as hopeless as each other.

Looking forward to Solly's return.

Give them a chance. Solly March was looking a bit crap at this point last season as well (whereas KLL and Murphy were looking great). It was only half way through the Cardiff game - our 9th league match - that he managed to remember how to play.

Sorry but I think Murphy has been a disappointment, he has had a few good games, but he seems to be afraid of the penalty area and really not much better at crossing than KLL.

Skalak has had a disappointing start, but has built up more credit!

But they were both dreadful Tuesday.

I think he definitely offers something, his delivery is incredible and dead ball situations are his forte.

I think last night Chris was just trying out Knockers in the attack mid role and therefore had to have Skalak on the right. I wouldn't be surprised to see Skalak go in that roe in one match as I believe he played there at his old club.

I like him and think he offers a lot and 'something different', however I do agree that for a guy that looks like a nutter, he acts like a baby
Over a fit Solly? Could be a short affair.

Where have I said over a fit Solly?!

I said I wouldn't be surprised to see him there for one match! We also have no idea how Solly will be when he comes back after such a long time out, much better players have massively struggled when returning from injury or even become like Jack Wilshere and much more susceptible to injury

I love Chris, but can someone please tell me what he sees in Skalak???

Yes, he scored a couple of good goals last season . But really all he does is look for the foul, or roll around pretending to be injured after being tackled! I find him really pathetic and the bloke is just plain irritating.

I really think we should look to offload him in Jan. R Van La Parra would have been a better option at a 1/3 of the price!

I like the way he wins pens for Hemed to score.

Your style of posting is reminiscent of an old poster who flounced when the going got too hot for her Yorkie.

I wish she'd stayed and you'd 'flounced' TBH

On way back, thought Skalak played well today. Murphy played with Hemed and still quite poor, capped it all with a back pass to their keeper when he had a presentable chance.

When you look at the free kicks given to us one name consistently appears to have won them and that's Skalak. He's learned the art of getting them so I can see why Chris has him out there earning chances for us.

Whist I don't dispute your opinion I find "the art of getting them" as an art is detrimental to the game. I don't think it was a penalty today.

Agree its a dark art that needs to stop. However it looked an obvious pen to me so i dont see it in that category
