If he's got two stars I don't see what anyone's worried about.

I still go to Burger Off and they don't even have ONE hygiene star. Similarly I've demolished many a delicious burger in the Brighton Beer Dispensary and they have just ONE star of hygiene

Burger off has four

Sing Li or you don't bother eating at all in my book. I actually saw the bloke who works in there walking along a road in Brighton last year. It was the equivalent of seeing Davros out of his Dalek clobber or Sir Chris Hoy not on a bicycle, amazing scenes.

Odd, I've always found them pretty tasty and not at all greasy. It may depend which one though as they're not all the same company any more.

The one on Lewes Road which used to be Dave's Diner is the best. Western Road branch to be avoided.

Anyone remember the FURORE a couple of years back when the pretentious over-priced (as it was then, don't know what it's like now) Sussex Yeoman got ONE star?

Brighton Beer Dispensary grub is superb! The beerkins are five star food all the way.

Sing Li is a Brighton institution, though. I hope nobody is going to let minor concerns over lack of hygiene etc put them off.

We've just (apparently) lost the New Lotus near the Dials over what looks like a matter of their lease, so my walk home from the station can't afford to be without yet another late-night food option.

Certainly is, I always remember him down the arcades on west street when I was about 15, spending what seemed like a fortune to me.

I occasionally still lament the loss to Brighton of Dave's Diner. No.2 and a cup of tea in there was about as good as a fry-up could get.

Never, ever eat takeaways now due to my Farmer Giles. The trouble is though alcohol at football makes me hungry so the only thing I touch are the beautiful pies at the AMEX and the lovely bacon butties when I go to watch Barnet. Wetherspoons' fry-ups are fantastic early on a Saturday morning

I understand some people's stomachs can cope with absolutely anything. To me it's too much of a risk for straining and I need a LOT of fibre so it's all fruit and veg everyday.

Talking of chips

Did anyone see the Huddersfield lad outside the ground before the match eating fish and chips when he was laid siege to by a seagull. The poor lad dropped his fish and chips on the ground and left it there.
