Woy should now resign before he is sacked. The ancient Romans had a great idea in their time. If they lost a battle the survivors could never set foot in Rome again. So it should be with this England team. They should never play for England again or be allowed to come and set foot in this green and pleasant land, they have ashamed us all with their inept performance. Good luck to Iceland. they deserved to win.

I can't stop laughing, a piss poor group we should have won in a canter and then we fluke a easy match against Iceland instead of Portugal and that idiot Hodgson manages to mess it all up, should have brought Rashford on at half time instead of sick note Wilshere, no plays safe when we're losing. So called superstars on £250k a week putting crosses and free kicks straight into the crowd, totally embarrassing.

Italy are light years ahead of us for one.

Yes that will help everyone. Let's all put the boot in, whilst he's down. He will probably stand down, in any case.
Typical English fans build them up, and knock them down.

Oh another note, I spotted Mr Blobby on tv.
Just feel that Roy has been too suspect tactically and with team selection and he sat on his hands all the way through that last match, during which, for me, England played their worst competitive game since I started watching them even if I include times we didn't qualify. You couldn't even say we were unlucky, we fully deserved what we got.

As are Iceland.

There is a decent team behind that shower of shite. Get rid of Roy and get someone else with fresh ideas. How hard is it to see that we needed PACE in our build up play, not just tap it around 25 yards out.

Murdoch and Sky have destroyed English football - too much money for average players and teams with billionaires playing fantasy football and American hedge funds trying to cash in on the daft money.

yes, because before the Sky invovlement England were the 70's and 80's equivilent of Spain and Germany? whatever the problem with our perennial underachievment, its not money.

We make the same mistake tournament after tournament, we take injured or unfit players.
Wiltshire,Henderson, have played less football than me this year,(almost), but instead of taking Noble and Drink water, we take these two casualty extras.
Sterling has had a shocking time since he left Liverpool,so, we take him instead of Townsend, who was ripping up defences in the second half of the season.
I feel a bit for Kane although he's been shite, he's young and he has been playing football without a break for about the last two years, after the under 21 tournament last Summer

Roy and the England players deserve every criticism that comes their way.

No system, no belief, no effort.

Excuses of 'we always knew they were hard to break down' or other such rubbish will not be listened to.

If Hodgson's a man of honour, he should resign immediately and not wait for the inevitable undeserved payoff.

If it was performance-related pay, he and the players haven't earned a penny.

I think I saw Noel Edmonds on the bench as well.

There isn't, there really isn't.
