My mother regrets voting leave.

She actually believed that the £350 million per week would be spent on the NHS. I did tell her at the time she was living in cloudcuckooland if she thought a hard right Tory governement would spend a penny of any money saved from leaving the EU on health care, but she chose to believe Boris, Gove and Farage over me.

They could have waited longer than 90 minutes after the result was known to puncture her illusions.

So you want to leave the Sun reading, uneducated elements of our society, on top of the OAPs who won't be here to fully enjoy the country we're so desperate to create, to the job of deciding what happens to a whole country?

Yeh... I see no flaws in your argument.

Perhaps you ought to examine the thousands of small and medium sized business owners, who are the life-blood of this country, who voted to leave. Just go and ask some of them why they voted as they did. These are the real wealth creators and have their finger on the pulse. They are educated, driven and positive. These are the people looking forward. These are the people that will keep this country on track. You won't hear doom and gloom from these people. Whilst all the hand-wringing and wailing and gnashing of teeth is going on, they are still employing millions of people and paying their taxes in the UK.
Politicians don't create wealth. They squander hard earned money. It amazes me that so many are prepared to put their faith in faceless bureaucrats, who are, first and foremost, paying themselves fortunes and looking after themselves. To trust the political elite in Brussels is misplaced and misguided faith.

Exactly!! have I missed something??

Yes a big party....Brighton promoted after a 2nd play off vs Sheffield..some fans got carried away and drank too much in excitement and are now nursing mother hang overs.

Just one more question to all the remainers on here who are talking as if the world is coming to an end. How many of you run your own businesses? As there is clearly no hope for us, I assume you are going to close down, sell-up or move the business to within the confines of the EU.

Nothing significant, if your not bothered about DC. But just saying some people I know regret the way they voted.

leaders are temporary the nation and most importantly it's people (away from the clutches of an EU monster state) will be forever.

The break up of the UK and the EU saying they will not give the British a good trade deal like Norway, so to make sure the contagion does not spread to the other 27 countries.

I assume this is hypothetical as when you take out Scotland the leavers have an even bigger mandate. Unless I'm reading it wrong. I'm happy for Scotland to do as Scotland wishes. It would just be sad if they left- which I'm sure they now will.

It is and yes the mandate would be far stronger...I agree I want the Scots to stay within the UK....clearly they don't.....part of me even thinks their vote is to undermine us..(that however is pure speculation on my part) but I think we should try to talk to Scotland more....it's tricky....

Even more certain Leave was the right choice seeing the hysterical undemocratic whining from some on the remain side :p

Bloody hell mate. It's not a football match. Sounds like you BEAT the remainers and now have bragging rights over them.

I went for Remain but could see other sides of the argument. I don't live in a town that has had been inundated with migrants. You may do.

Just out of interest what points of remaining, did you think "Oh they might have a point there?" ... or was it 100% leave. no good points?
