Is that not where most stories come from? The site manager seemed to think he was signing for sure. Some people just love a moan up on here it seems

It is where most stories come from. And those stories rarely have legs. I have heard stories from similar sources about new signings etc in the past but prefer not to start threads about them unless it's a satirical swipe. I'd say it's a legitimate moan- others not. As I said, they'll be more to come so don't feel you're being singled out. A long way to go before your can look our BG in the eye and tell of your auntie's dogs forecast of a new left back.

Is the site manager the same bloke that met Murray at the Shell garage in January who said he was signing on loan then?

I think there shoudl be an embargo on Albion signing players over 26 years old, unless they are former internationals or Spanish speaking.

When Murray played for the Albion
I was really pleased to watch him.
Now
After years at Palace and Boremouth
I don't want to see him wearing the stripes again
...and don't want to hear about him either.

Yes I agree in a way, I hear loads of stuff from people that I don't listen too but on this nstance I thought it may have some legs in it. I remember putting up Years ago about why Murray actually left in the first place, I got hammered for
It, then it turned out to be true.
I only posted it because the bloke was so sure about it whiteout me even questioning it, that's why I posted

Murray had one - maybe one and a half good seasons with us. Decent player, yes. The new Zamora? You are joking, aren't you?

of course I am, it is just the way it seems. Since January he appears to have developed a fandom on here akin to that of what Zamora had and if he doesn't sign this year I can foresee another thread about him in January/next Summer

Apart from the fact that I think it started before January, I agree with you. He's a decent player, but I'd rather we moved forwards than back.

I know that I'm probably in the minority here, but he wouldn't get any more goals than Hemed and he would cost at least double in salary. Let's move on boys.

You are probably right there, but I would be happy if he got 16 a season. The only difference is that those around him would score more goals than they would with Hemed .

Why would he cost double in salary? Zamora has left, if Hemed was to get any sort of long term injury we'd be totally screwed. If Murray can come on an acceptable wage to the club we should be interested. He's a clever player, never relied on pace. With our quality wingers i'm sure he'd score a lot of goals.

Without threads like this one, NSC would be VERY quite in the summer months.

I don't have a problem with them, to be honest. Take it with a pinch of salt, and trust that if it does happen, Barber, Bloom, etc have done a deal that is best for the club. If it doesn't? We move on and someone else comes in

If you take the approach that he's not coming then a) you can't miss what you never had and b) it'll be a bonus if he DOES sign.
