Eh? Have I stepped into some sort of strange world today where inoffensive comments are being construed as attacks? How on earth have you come to the conclusion that I don't like you? Please explain.

My comment was a friendly warning that if you want to accuse TMLS and Ernest of never having visited any football stadia then be prepared to eat humble pie - and lots of it. Please, stop with the ad hominems.

You don't really get irony do you?

I am, of course, in full agreement with you.

I can see where this is leading so I'll resist replying in similar vein but can I ask the same question someone else just asked you - do you really think Ernest and by extension, Tony Meolas Loan Spell never go to any matches?

I stand here (well sit actually) well and truly castigated for daring to suggest the irreverent duty of call put out by your dear friends. I am humbled that you feel it necessary to stake their claims over my audacious suggestion of their non alliance with away matches. I will beat myself with horse tails. That doesn't take away from the utter bollocks they spout.

Lots of love xx

To throw thanks back in someone's face for something someone else did ~20 years ago is pretty poor really.

It's only a handful of sad, rather limited, bitter trolls with long memories and short fuses who just can't let it go.

You seem desperate to start a fight with me and I thought I had asked a relatively simple and innocuous question. No offence and just my opinion but it's getting very silly.

Don't be stupid. I am not friends with either TMLS or Ernest, but I have seen them at many away games. They happen to have different opinions to some of us, but don't try to belittle them by trying to be clever. It makes you look very foolish.

Someone comes on to thank Brighton fans for their help and, in record time, we turn it into a binfest among ourselves. NSC at its finest.

Is it any wonder that, when in need of help arguing with someone, other fans turn to the Albion?

I must admit to a slight disappointment that no-one has remarked about the attractiveness of Katrien Meire, or blamed the whole business on honey badgers.

How to derail a perfectly pleasant thread, classic NSC. Glad we could help the Charlon FANS yesterday, a nice payback for the SUPPORT that those fans have shown us in the past. Everything else is just irrelevant. Good luck Charlton, get Roland out!

I did not make the game yesterday but glad of the support given to Charlton fans and that one of their fans has posted his and others gratitude.
It is sad that Charlton are in turmoil, sad that we have lost a great away day.

So, by your assumption, in order for any fans to be upset with their plight they have to be in an identical situation to us? You, my friend, are a sandwich short of a picnic, in my humble opinion of course.

No not at all. My point is not against them demonstrating - they can do that as much as they like - it's your ridiculous assumption that anyone who disagrees with you has never been near a football stadium......... And that makes me think you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer, in my humble opinion of course.

But this was never set up as a fans utd.
Charlton are very unhappy with the way their club is being run, they happened to be playing Brighton yesterday and as a set of fans that have a great reputation for helping out asked us to kindly join in if we wanted to.
Thankfully many did, they are very grateful and have thanked us.
Why all the bellendery about not being in our position and some busses many years ago is being spouted about I don't know.
We won, we helped, we may be promoted, we are OK for money in a nice new stadium.
Is that not enough for some people.

I totally agree with you.
