Credit to Wednesday had they been a bit bolder and gambled they would have won, complete shut us out in the 2nd half.

This might be controversial but is there not a chance that Sheffield Wednesday were actually quite good, especially at defending?

According to CH they will right up there.

The question is thou who with???

Why even stick him on the bench if he's injured? Hughton got it wrong for me.
There's a vast difference between being able to carry a knock for a whole game (which presumably he wasn't) and being able to carry that knock for part of a game, if needed (which obviously he will have been, otherwise CH wouldn't have had him on the bench).

I thought the main reason that we didn't play well is that Wednesday were very well organised and kept doubling up on our wingers which stifled our creativity. We may have had more joy through the middle but without Kayal we were lacking the creative spark.

All in all it was two very well organised teams that ultimately cancelled each other out which does happen sometimes.

Spot on, absolutely spot on.

Well aware of that. Next obvious question is why not bring him on? Midfield was crying out for Kayal and we were left with Sidwell.

Again, for me, Hughton got it wrong. Same as Cardiff away.

I'm totally on the Hughton Express but he has absolutely made at least two questionable team selections this season.

Based upon that display, if we played Wednesday in the playoffs I'd make them favourites to progress

IT was nothing like Cardiff away. We didn't concede 4 goals.

Dreadful conditions. Neither side showing anything in the final third. The game could've gone on all night and noone would've scored. Just one of those days.

No, Middlesbrough have a game more to play. We cannot make up the points on Burnley, and Hull and Middlesbrough have more games than us to play.

We have run out of road to catch top 2 :nono:

You are assuming Hull Burnley and Boro will all win all their remaining games. Somehow I suspect this may not happen :lolol:

Not a lot different to Preston last Saturday then?

Personally think that Preston basically killed the game, Wednesday looked to me to have a bit more nous and should have got more from the game than a draw.

That said, the amount of time their keeper wasted perhaps gives us the tip as a draw was acceptable to them.

I thought Wednesday were going to nick it. Albion were all over the shop and the three subs brought nothing new. The Owls must have done their homework because the seemed to be able to have an extra man available all the time. Stockdale (again) saved us a valuable point. Their 'keeper was largely untroubled
