I would probably out £300 of Leicester to win the league if they lose to Arsenal as they have quite a good run in

Leicester were layable yesterday at 3.45 (now 3.6).

At 3.45, he could have laid the £1300 that he obviously needs, thus exposing himself to £3185 if Leicester do win the league.

That means that if Leicester win the league, his net winnings would have been £5000 - £3185 = £1,815
And if Leicester don't win the league, he'd win the £1300 laid on Betfair.

On the other hand, if he cashes out the £1300 on his original bet, he doesn't benefit any further if Leicester do win the league.

I can't remember where I read it but there had been some analysis done on cash out bets
Overall in the long run it was found to be more favourable to stand firm rather than cash out
I have also found this to be the case in the bets that I have hedged over the years
However this punter is likely to be risk averse and as it is a season long bet the sensible option to is fully cash out at this stage

Really?

Leicester are now on holiday for a week, they'll be on a beach with friends and family. Their next 2 games are at home to Norwich and West Brom, followed by away to Watford then home to Newcastle.

Arsenal now have Champions League, FA Cup commitments, and they're next fixtures are away at MU, home to Swans, away at Spurs.

They are definitely not out of this race yet.

I've faced this a lot of times on combination betting and its an art to get it right. Regardless wether its a football type bet or a horse racing combo (i do a lot of lucky 31s) the principles are the same. Each consecutive win the cash out grows but each loss it falls. Therefor you need to accurately weight the following picks. as well as the cash out percentages.

for example if ive got the first 3 up and the last 2 are my top picks I'm more likely to let it ride rather than throwing in a long shot in on the last stage will make me cash out. Therefor he needs to assess current form and the next fixtures. It does my nut in at times, ive won big cashing out and lost £100s by not, but after a time I got to handle it more accurately.

Certainly was a lucky day for me yesterday, the Augsburg goal was in the 87th minute as well
