Your debt is to American investors and these investors won't be the Glaziers or the Fenway Sports Group kind, but likely to be the Villa kind. When they get bored and they will, because Palace does not have the foundations that Man United and Liverpool respectively have, it will end in tears and your ultras will be back out on the street with their flares crying for help to save their club.

I wonder when all their banners will come out against the Americans then. Presumably they're feverishly putting them together as we speak.
I think there is scope for wage growth at Palace. Their last wage bill was £46 million, the lowest in the division, compared to the PL average of £95 million.

The Americans aren't doing it for the love of it, they see it as a way of getting a good return on their money.
The new TV deal kicks in next season, so clubs will be awash with money.
I'm a passionate Palace fan, and trust Steve Parish to do his best for the club, but I'm not that nieve to think there won't be risks.

Income 2013/14 was £90.4 million, so they can cover those wages with ease. Income next season will be about £125 million assuming they are in the PL.

That's his prediction for this season.
There's scope for that with the increase of revenue.

So with those figure next season, if wages don't go up they could have £50 mill towards a new ground .
Less than that, there are other overheads to consider as well. They did however make a profit of nearly £18 million last year.

Well at least they were able to pay for Cabaye and that great goalscorer Wickham with that money.
Remember that the transfer fees are spread over the contract term, so the hit to profit for those two is £4 million a season.
