I'm moving to my seat in the Amex for good, I can be there 24/7 to clap anyone, yeah anyone that happens to be around the stadium. Got a small tent and sleeping bag, camping gaz and a nice tin mug. Please come visit me from time to time.

To be fair, "plastics" however you define them have paid money to WATCH football, not necessarily support a team.. They have the freedom to control the itinerary of their own match-day experience, and its their money that they have paid. I leave on 88 minutes most games because I get the coach back (and yes, OBVIOUSLY there will be HARD-CORE supporters who stay to the end and magically get on Park-and-ride straight away...), but today's game I didn't; I have been very grateful of the unbeaten run, and, crucially, I have enjoyed it instead of fretting about the new "PLASTICS" who come in to watch our team, our brilliant team. Who cares? I'm unsure of the definition of the plastic in terms of sport, but I am sure of the term supporting: that is not coming to watch us play and then moaning when we lose, but cheering us on and singing and, ultimately enjoying your tim. Yet, you can still moan; i for one was pretty humiliated by yesterday's performance but hey we were going to lose. Thank god it wasn't to Rotherham and it was to at team that if they fail to get promoted will surely be one of the most biggest embarrassments in Championship History.
So...where were we? Come at us Brentford, for I will be there on Boxing day!

Couldn't agree more. It's not a case of 'better fans' as such - it's more a case of most fans WANTING others to show their commitment to the cause and their #together colours. This thread was never meant to be a 'better fans' than you thread. But one poster seems to have turned it into that as a sign of their guilt & frustrations. Let's show our appreciation together. Yes people are entitled to do as they wish, but I for one, would like all fans to stay to the end. And I'm sure CH and the team agree with me...

the better team won they were better in all positions, but haho we out beat a lot of good teams in europe with run so now is the time to reflect,dust ourself's down and show the first half of the season wasn't a fluke come on seagull's the mighty seagull's

This thread is not about bullying people!
Fans who stay til the end earn extra points.
Fans who cheered the team at the end of the run earn points.
Fans who bully fans who leave early loose points.
Fans who bully their own supporters regarding their real fan status loose points.
There are many different ways to earn and loose points.
Where I'm confused is the half and half scarf dudes do they get half points?

Agree with all of that. I don't consider myself a 'better' fan than someone who left early on Saturday, but equally I don't really get why they would. Clearly, I understand the reasons behind SOME people leaving before the final whistle, but I saw people leaving AS the third goal went in, which is way before when they normally would, so those 'normal' reasons don't wash with me on this occasion. Similarly, I don't think those same people would be clearing off if it the match was level, or even if there was one goal in it.
The club can't force people to stay to the bitter end, but I think they would like it if fans stuck around until at least the dying stages. The amount of people missing in ALL stands at around 85 minutes (including the mighty North Stand) shocked me. Again, I'm not claiming any sort of moral high ground, but I didn't expect it to empty like that...

I can't get to as many games as I'd like to, so when I can go I want to get the maximum enjoyment (or misery on some occasions) from the experience, which means getting there well before kick-off and staying to the final whistle. I was especially baffled to see the ground empty so fast at an early kick-off when many of the usual arguments about getting home surely didn't apply.

Missed my first home game of the season Saturday as had to go to the Olympia International Horse Show with the family - which was brilliant by the way. Followed the game on the phone when I could. Will also have to miss the next 2 home games as I have to work. There are other things in life, does that make me a bad fan? Gutted about the result mind.......

The other side of Guildford at the moment, which in itself is about an hour and a quarter away, but I car share with 3 others who don't live so close, 2 of whom don't drive, so it always ends up taking about 2 hours each way (if we leave on time).

I stayed and clapped we will never see a run like that again in my life.Well done the lads.everyone s entitled to do what they want.I think its a shame though that more did nt stay. people are quick enough to leave early when were doing shit.so why not show your support when something amazing has happened mind you i still feel 60 percent of people have just started coming since the stadium was built a lot of people 2nd team ect..
