Oh and one esp for the East Standers.

That series of first time passes and volleys in front of us, involving Bruno, March & Kayal ending with a (tame) shot from Hemed, 15 minutes into the second half, was worth the entrance fee alone (as the cliche goes)
Yes, amazing move which fully deserved a goal to garnish it.

I watched up to 70 minutes on a stream, and, whilst I haven't seen them all, I can't think of any game where we looked so dominant since when we won the 4th division in 2001.

I watched the first 15 mins on a stream with French commentator, and the guy was creaming himself at how good our build up play was. When I managed to find an English stream, the commentators first words in the second half were: 'it's still 1-1, amazingly'.

Edit: Need to add the Brum have the best away record in the division, and we stuffed them in all but the score line. One game, all these chances and decisions are going to go our way and we'll beat someone 23-0.

Really really enjoyable game of football today. We were sublime at times and could easily have won by more. They were cynical at times but at least showed intent going forward, so made a good end to end game of it.

Not even a very petty ref could spoil what was possibly my favourite game so far this season.

By the way...

Bolton have only won one game this season and they're the only team, along with us, that haven't won a single game by more than 1 goal. Impressive.

Had us grinning from ear to ear and remarking at how it's just like watching Brazil :)

Surprisingly not sung today by the Blues, shame on them

They did a couple of times just after they scored. One Brummie pillock walking to Falmer station for the Lewes train said they were robbed and by far the better team and should have won. Not sure if he went to the game and watched it. We are creating so many chances sooner or later we are going to hammer some team, could it be Charlton next week.

Just being objective. We won, tick, the loanee from United missed a 1 on 1 and we failed to make dominance pay in goals, cross, we are top of the league, tick, we are 3 points off third and maybe losing in the play offs, now that would be a cross.

No, you are being an historical Albion fan and not enjoying the good times, oh, and you missed off unbeaten in how many? Enormous tick!

I'm just starting to wonder - only JUST starting, mind - whether I should make tentative enquiries about the odds for 'doing an Arsenal'................would be nice if a judiciously placed tenner could pay off my mortgage!

Crossed my mind a few days back, but shut up!

What was the guest beer on sale in the away end this week? Must've been something bloody good!

Back from Miami for Charlton game next week, can't wait! I was at the last game we ever played in the top flight, away at Norwich. I believed then we'd bounce straight back....been a long wait but I really think this could finally be our time again.

we beat hull, drew with burnley and reading all there or there abouts. we also beat ipswich and fulham and drew with wolves - all early favourites to do well. we have done great with all thats been thrown at us. it's a long way to go, but todays win against a top 6 team who had the best away record in the league must at least be cause for us all to be happy and a bit excited for the upcoming months.

Yeah. But apart from that, what have we done?

Fair enough. I was in the South West, so maybe the noise from our fans was drowned out by the Brum.

One thing that did rile me today - we had an absolute pillock in the west lower goading the away fans for the entire 90 minutes. He wore a white baseball cap. I guarantee the **** had it in his pocket when he left the ground

Villa fan?
