Not long to the deadline now, are we really going to bring in two players in one day? I have my doubts. Wilson being on the bench for Utd last night perhaps would mean that one is unlikely. If nothing happens I think we will see Harper in the squad on Saturday.

On what basis? The other kid was on the bench Sunday and scored last night, why would it be Harper getting the call up?

Just a hunch really as he was taken off early last night, possibly to save him in case he is needed on Saturday. Just a guess though!

My first thought too. If we are short on numbers I think CH will give promising youngsters sit on the bench and get a feel for the atmosphere. Whether they get 30 seconds on the pitch like Tilley last year will depend on how games are panning out.

I'm will to bet that we'll play some lovely 1st half football, score first, and then get a second, before letting Brum back into the game with a goal just before half time, leaving the second half a tense affair as we create little, and have to bring on an additional midfielder to protect the lead.... thus not allowing us (AGAIN) to blood new talent.

Leaving it late if we are going to sign somebody. I cannot understand why we should leave it so late or will this be the usual case of ' we knew our targets but couldnt complete the deal' yet again.
