I genuinely love this time of year on here - we're now probably going to spend 21 hours or so tracking flights from Argentina on the off chance that one of them might be bringing us £9 million worth of new striker according to a rumour heard by a mate of someone who posts here.

There is another flight from Buenos Aires as well - Iberia flight 4766 due to land at the same time as the BA one, so I hope they do not crash. Both arriving Terminal 5 6:20am (are they the same plane??). Who's volunteering?

As with most BA code shares you may find it's also and American Airlines flight too!

Naylor saying he is off on holiday is a ruse. He will get as far as Heathrow tomorrow to get an exclusive with our Argie striker.

Tremendous amount of creativity that this rumour has generated.

Realistically, though (yeah, I know, sorry) how many people at the club would know where Barbs was and who he had with him?
Paul Winstanley? TB? Can't really see them spreading it around.
