POP Everything has made a reappearance. For my money it's better than TCGTE; all killer no filler.

The Arnold Schwarzenegger episode is funny and the Randy Newman episode just descends into all out arguing when Tom refuses to listen to any of the music. Highly recommended.
Tim went nuts when talking Randy Newman, I was killing myself laughing.

Interesting list. Might try a couple of those so thanks for posting.

Bit surprised Kermode and Mayo is number one. I still like the reviews and interviews but their prattle in between and all the little in-jokes built up over the years are stating to get a bit irritating.

If you have an interest in the NHS, this weeks Private Eye podcast Page 94 is well worth a listen.

Their medical correspondent, Dr Hammond (?) is incredibly enlightening on the past present and future of the NHS.

Morning all.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but I heartily recommend "The Worst Idea of All Time".

Two comedians from NZ watch "Grown Ups 2" every week for a year and podcast their thoughts immediately after each viewing. Now in season 2 where they've moved onto "Sex and the City 2".

If you like TCGTE you'll like this. Funny shit.

Good stuff, as many of my 'regulars' are approaching their Summer breaks I'll give it a listen.

I picked up 'Spark London' from the Buzzfeed list above.
I think it's really good, the blurb:-

.You might have heard of The Moth, a very popular American podcast in which people reveal true stories about themselves on stage in front of a live audience. But did you know that there’s a British version too? It’s called Spark London, and the format is more or less the same. The stories told on stage have to be true, and must be under five minutes long. For the performers the show is part therapy, and for you, if you don’t like their stories, it won’t be long till the next one is on.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned undisclosed, which is a kind of spin off of Serial, worth a listen if you enjoyed the latter.

I'll be giving "The Worst Idea of All Time", a go soon, as August is the month where I run out of podcasts.

Does anyone have any new recommendations?

Yeah that's a real shame, what with The Bugle being barely a thing anymore my comedy listening has been blown out the water. I have subscribed to Tom Cranes story show, which is short but quite good fun. It's just him inviting comics in and telling stories about their lives.

I'm not sure if they're new (or whether I've posted in this thread already) but I've recently gone searching for new Podcasts and my current line-up for the foreseeable is;

- Football Ramble (Nothing at the moment, obviously)
- Football Weekly (Random weekly stories/documentaries until season starts)
- The Nerdist (Lot of good interviews)
- Talk is Jericho (As above, mostly wrestling related but others as well)
- Stuff you should know
- The Complete Guide to Everything
- The Giant Bombcast (Gaming)
- Friday Night Comedy (R4 broadcast)
- The Bugle (Satire, now monthly)
- Answer Me This

There are others alongside these but I'd say this is the A-list...

With that has anyone got recommendations for funny podcasts? I don't really like 'there's no such thing as a fish'.
Blimey I loves 'fish', it's easily gone into my top 5 must listens.
I'm even considering going to them do a Brighton gig, in October.

I'm a reasonably new convert to Sean Hughes' Under The Radar show.
It's very 'inside comedy' but if you like the guest you'll like the show.

Today I listened to Richard Herring's interview with Johnny Vegas.

It's easily one of, if not Herring's best by virtue of that fact he says very little (that's a compliment) and allows Johnny to speak very candidly about himself.

I strongly recommend the listen, even those who loathe JV and his stage persona, as this is an interview with Michael Pennington.

Me so happy.

Good news but are they actually going keep to a schedule?
I'll let you know when I've listened.
A while ago Andy spoke about making The Bugle monthly as JO couldn't commit to more than that.
Strangely enough Andy could.
