This has the smell of one of those posts that if he does end up joining us you'll have an 'I told you so'attitude but if he doesn't you won't post on the thread again. You at least have to pre cursor why your 'client' might know this to give your post any credibility, as for all we know he could work at Burger King.
Jeez, the guy is a wealthy manufacturer not that it makes much difference he mentioned it in conversation as we often talk about football and he knows who I support.

I live up in the North West and so I think I'm in a good position to say that Blackburn is a bit grotty. Having said that, it is like Dubai compared to Burnley.

I've been to Blackburn. But I don't know if he's coming. Sorry, it was 1991.

I went to Blackburn and it rained heavily. So I went to Accrington with my clients when the game was rained off. I went to Blackburn another time and we won 1-0. Some of their clients called us poofs, sir.

punish: I won't hear that said about the town I lived in for 4 years

Actually, every place has it's good and bad points; and who doesn't want to work in a dark, satanic mill at some point in their life (Spring Gardens Mill in Colne, to be precise):-

A few days ago I dropped a match onto my arm, burning holes in my shirt and skin. The hole in my skin has now healed but not before creating a very dark coloured scab. Singe, burn, black, healed.

If this is not a sign, I do not know what is. 5.30pm Tuesday.
