Slow start to this series but that last episode was brilliant. Hopefully it will power its way to the end of this season after using the first episodes to set up the mayhem.

Slow burn series this time around, but tonight seemed to really kick it up more than a few notches - can't wait for the remaining two episodes.

That was a good episode. Such a relief. I had been bored to tears for much of this season. Some action and some good swearing. That's what's been needed and it turned up in droves. Was gutted to see Katrine from Borgen's fate though.

It hasn't been the best of seasons, but tonight's episode was brilliant! You can see where they spent the budget this year.

Shocking episode that one. Nicely set up for the finale, although i can't see them tying up all the loose ends appropriately. This series will obviously spill into the next.

Such a frustrating show mind - when it's good it's the best thing on telly bar none.

But SO many bloody filler episodes - thank goodness these last two episodes have come along.

Yes this series has been slow, but we now seem to be witnessing the pay off. I am hopeful that there will be some major happenings at the beginning of next seasons to keep it moving. Don't think everything will get resolved next week so that will leave some big stuff for the beginning of series 6.

It just seems to me that they made mad ratings with the RW, and they need to keep that up now at the end of every season for tv chaps, so just threw this burning thing in there as a way to get a reaction again.

Is it this week or next week that is supposed to 'break the internet'? Because if it was this week I'm shocked at how piss poor the attempt was.

There are still loose ends from season 4 to tie up. Where the hell are the Stark boys?

This series has all been about getting thing in place. Lots of tactical manovers etc etc etc. they should have showed Stanus suffering more as to do what he did last night would need to have taken a lot of suffering before he resorted to that. However I'm sure the red witch will show him her tits and that will cheer him up.

Last nights episode was ****ing grim mind, seriously didnt need to do the peado scene as it could have quite clearly been alluded too.

Looking forward to the Last episode of this series. shame it will be another 40 odd weeks before we see anything else.

So what are we expecting in the next episode, a battle at Winterfell, a battle at the Wall - or is that all for next season?

Pre S05 E09 Spoiler Alert - though why you'd be reading this thread if not up to date I don't know.

I'm not expecting those. The wildlings have joined the south to live and prepare for war against the common enemy in the future - I wasn't expecting anything to happen with that for some time.

Where the hell were the 8,000 unsullied last night?

I've no idea where they'll go next week, could be anything.

Incidentally, I watched my recording of GOT last night, and about 10 minutes from the end, my Sky subscription ran out.

I accidentally saw a spoiler for next week's episode when reading comments about lasts night's episode on a blog :ffsparr:

It's going to be good but I'll leave it at that because I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Would be intresting to see if there has been any further work on the Mountain as we havent seen whats happened with him.

Also surely it has to be an attack on Winterfell from Stanus, only for Littlefinger to turn up and beat the whoever won the previous battle?

I have to say I hope Ramsey hangs around for a bit longer he is brilliantly dark, Much better than Geoffery ever was.

By the looks of that trailer, Stannis will at least show up at Winterfell but I'm not sure whether it'll reach any kind of conclusion this season. I would expect some Wall stuff too and the resolution of where Drogon took Daenerys.
