Last year we scraped into the playoffs on the back of Ulloa's goals. The year before we were comfortably in the play-offs and truly competitive with the other teams. This year we have suffered because of a lack of a quality goal scorer at this level

Yes, I can't argue with that, but compare it to the previous season and the football we were playing then.

Alternatively, you can argue that our true abilities were found out in the play-off's.

The football had to be slower because the pace (Buckley) was, for the most part, injured and for what ever reason Oscar was ignored when he tried to bring in players.
As for the play offs we gave the a good game at home, but then had no Upson, Greer (for most of the game) and were lacking a very big player in Stephens in the middle.

Oh and how are we losing to bloody Wigan
