Someone cheap. Really cheap. Possibly someone with no experience whatsoever of managing in this country and a complete and utter "yes man" for the twats who give him a budget of 50p in the summer and then smugly pronounce to 23,000 - sorry 14,000 - season ticket holders that we will be very pleased with the team on 1st September 2015 (3 weeks after the season actually starts).

He'd be ideal.

What I want is Hughton, Pulis or Clement

What I think we'll get is someone cheap, my guess is Nathan Jones till the end of the season. Then, when we know what league we're in, we'll get someone relative to that league

Then we can proceed to grind results out and everyone moan that we are not entertaining....

No worries. This board would turn on a dime, and immediately announce that playing attractive football is more important than results....

One clear candiate: Paolo Di Canio

Experience as both a player and a manager at the highest (inter)national levels.
Managed a successful promotion season. In an English league.

But above all, passion.
Because that's the only thing that really matters in a manager, isn't it?

Frank psychosis, sure and a a terrible man-manager.
But you've got to concede my point about passion....

Spot on as ever Rex. He's passionate about his fascism too.

Simple question: who would the NSC family like to replace Hyypia?

I wouldn't agonise about it too much; after all our managers don't tend to stick around for too long anyway.

Anyway, Brian McDermott for me.

I must have fallen asleep.....haven't we got a manager? I'll go back to sleep and see if my Water Bill disappears.

I'd like Gus back, but that won't happen.

I'd like Pulis, but don't think he would come either.

I genuinely believe we are no longer capable of attracting a decent name so I would go with an old school combo of Curbishlet ably assisted by Calderon. Ditch everyone else including Burke/Jones and the assortment of coaches that we seem to have who no one knows the name of.

Plenty of managers out of work and not many jobs on the horizon. Hughton Sherwood Pulis Adkins to name a few, some of them been out of a job for a while

Easier to tell you who I don't want......then see who's left.....

Reading beat us to it IMO.... Steve Clarke would have been ideal.

Someone upthread demanded 'bite' and 'nous'.

He'll give you the bite.
Nous, not so much.

Half a loaf, though.
