She actually has a product that unique. Can't see Lord S letting it go.

Oh gawd, the tall blond is back!

Edit: Sarah.. Last pick,,

The other guy only wants to go it alone on what he does as a job, not exactly inspiring however he is a very good salesman

I think Sugar should be replaced as he is hopelessly out of touch with the modern day working methods. As for his rather awful jokes the candidates "laugh" rather awkwardly to it is pretty dim.

Maybe Karen Brady should take the chair.

Lord no ! especially after her work in standing up FOR the exploitation of women under Mr Golds and Mr Sullivan and their various "Magazines "

I remember Lord Sugar asking along the lines of " Sarah, what did you bring to the project as project leader ? " And as she replied most of the girls either shook their heads or looked sideways at each other giving a " what the f @@@ ? look "

:rotlf:

Plenty of people (esp The_Viper , Pavilionaire) have touched upon the flaws of this show:

1) Sales: ignores the large slice of luck involved. There needs to be a judge element to this
2) The business idea: ignored until the end. Why? Stupid idea and makes a mockery of the process.
3) How the task winner is determined: Sometimes pure cash as the winner is ridiculous. Like the tour coach task with Karen Brady whinging how she expected better food as part of a £90 coach tour. No shit Karen, but who cares if profit on this ONE task is the only thing that matters.

It's frustrating because they are all fixable with a bit of thought and that show would then run and run with a decent premise. Instead, people are only tuning it to watch gobshites to make themselves look like total tossers, which is fine for giggles of course, but as far as I'm concerned is beginning to get very boring.

You talk about it in terms of it being real life and not just another a contrived, manipulated, camera-in-your-face show trying to pretend it's real life: "Can we just reshoot that image of you looking moody/upset in the descending lift after you got bawled out by that bald bloke Solomon because there was a f/ing hair in the f/ing gate!"

Bianca is not using her team. She sent them home. That could be a big mistake. She is not listening to them.

Mark's team seem to be working well together.

Bianca does, however, seem more confident than Mark.

Do you think so, I detect a potentially poor pitch again from Mark as he seems to be doing it on the fly

Here we go, Mark is struggling it would appear.

Thought Bianca did well but did I detect the industry expert suggested a rather large range ?

So it's Tights v Internet Advertising.... well, 50% of us don't wear tights ( Maybe HB&B ) so it's a no brainer, Mark for the win.

I vote Bianca, although the enquiry on her team management might be interesting!

Bit of a no brainer, Lord Sugar risks £250 K with Mark, which is probably a little less than he earned for fronting the series. If it all goes tits up he will just have to rub along on his remaining £700M, poor bugger.

No mention of the fact that Bianca's business plan was based on £35 per pair of tights, but she ended up taking that down to £20 in the pitch. Given that Net Profit ratio in that industry c. 7-8% it renders her original business plan worthless. How was this not picked up at interview stage?
