Still lacking width, which means when we're in the midfield, we're crowded out. I think the Tex + Gardner subs was a positive change, though we're still lacking a source for Colunga.

That said, I've been a harsh critic of Hyypia. But I think he has set us up well against Spurs, I think we can grab an equaliser; but I don't understand why we can't defend like that every game...

Whilst Paddy has been amazing coming on this season he has kinda proven Sami right as he has been anonymous IMO tonight albeit against Premier League opposition .

It probably doesn't help when the Amex crowd call for him to come on - probably makes him feel he's hard-done-by not starting, instead of leaving him to work hard for his place.

In fairness to Paddy it's not exactly the kind of game in which he'd expect to get a lot of opportunities to shine. I doubt Sami will lose any faith in him because of it.
