Have to agree. Bringing Murray back after Ulloa went, was the biggest no brainer you could get. Ticked every single box and then some more, yet it would appear we didn't even look into it...Shambolic, given he is 100% the type of player we are crying out for.

It's doesn't matter who we sign, if the manager doesn't play them in a system that suits them.. The only real area of the squad that is weaker than last season imo, is the strikers. But the system Hyypia is trying to play doesn't suit any of them. Our full backs, aren't wingers and our strikers are either to short to play as a lone striker or just not good enough. There's no great mystery behind why we are where we are. The manager is clueless and asking players to do things, that they can't do and as a result they have lost all their confidence, on the pitch and in the staff. It really is as simple as that.

It wouldn't be fair to slag everyone that Burke has signed off, although he is signing players that don't suit the system we play. It's like the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing, it's a joke with us fans as the punchline. Surely someone actually asked Hyypia in the summer which formation he intended to play etc etc...So then Burke goes out and gets the exact opposite to what we actually need.....and has he actually signed a decent striker Ulloa was someone else's baby not identified by Burke.

We can plead for all sorts of target men but they won't do Jack S@@t for us unless we change the formation. Decent strikers need wingers and I think we only have KLL in that category who is anywhere near fit.
That said, Wood and Murray would do for me.
