I was talking to his sister in law this week, apparently he's looking forward to this game, and thinks they'll get a result down here. His brother still lives in Faygate and is head scout so takes in a lot of our games, they are quietly confident !

Cheer up Stevie Evans, oh what can it mean, to a fat Scottish ******* with a shite football team !

I have just been reading what Steve Evans has been saying in the local paper in Rotherham. He reckons that our play in the first 20 minutes against Middlesborough was the best he has seen in the Championship this season. He also thinks that the Amex looks like a spaceship!
hes the one who looks like a spaceship and i thought we were crap against middlesborough

He's also one of those men who looks even more of a mess, the smarter they try to dress. The sight of Evans running down the Wembley touchline in celebration during the League One play off final, then shambling back to his area, pulling up his suit trousers and tucking his gut back into his belt, was one of the more unpleasant scenes you'll witness in football.

If things dont improve soon there is going to be a lot more space at the Amex

Read my article on the odious Evans, here http://www.northstandchat.com/content.php?297-Stevie-Evans-is-a

Or don't. Whatever.

I was tempted to write that the likes of Evans have no place in the beautiful game. I'd be completely wrong though, of course - football needs its larger than life pantomime villians - everyone loves a good boooo. The Amex definitely benefits from a hate figure. Altogether now - "Stevie Evans, is a ..."

I've had a bad week. This is mainly due to the game on Tuesday and the way we are generally playing at the moment. The thought of Evans and Rotherham outplaying and beating us tomorrow has been uppermost in my mind.
Evans may have said some nice things but he is not syched up yet and tomorrow when he starts to get wound up he will return to the fat sweaty wanchor he is. Rotherham was the first fixture i looked out for because of of my total distain for the clown.
If we lose I will be firmly supporting the Sami out brigade.
I dont care how we play tomorrow or how we do it but we must win if only for my sanity.
In fact I hope Evans does lose it because it means he has been beaten.
Rotherham are a decent side and we are going to need to score at least 2 because Alex Revell will deffo get at least 1.
Rant over.

True that.

Perhaps when he says twenty, he means five. If not, how nice of him to overlook the goal we conceded after eight of those twenty minutes.

He might not be everybodys idea of a nice person (does it matter)but as a manager, and charachter wise,I"d rather have him than Lurchs" less animated twin brother.
