I can't believe that we've got to 8 pages without mentioning that the majority of Palace fans were indeed far too busy for this pointless and hypocritical protest because they were at another protest - the enormous BBS binfest generated by that genius Colin replacing Murray with, er, Kevin Doyle.

Do you reckon we could have another " For F**k Sake Murray !!" Moment this season ???

Give it another 10 years and most of them will be into trainspotting , married with five kids and receiving their ten years service certificate from McDonalds.

Speaking from experience soggy ?

Tired of reading about the Nigels and their geeky eurofan nonsense on this site, quite honestly. It attracts Nigels onto the site, which obviously is obviously a bad thing too.

Calm down Simeon , you love it .

Or they could reduce the cost of season tickets dramatically, as ticket revenue is now a much lower percentage of the income for Premier League teams.

The one club in the PL who have acted most to keep ticket prices low as a result of owner subsidy are ironically the one which has been fined €50 million by UEFA for breaching FFP rules.

Bad example really. You're forgetting Wilf grew up around the same area that a lot of the HF did. I suspect most of them would be proud of him and think well done. That said, how does it sit with you that Brighton's players earn anywhere between £5k and £20k per week playing in the Championship? I suspect unless everyone who sits in the North Stand is a doctor, solicitor or politician they might find that to their chargrin?

This is the bad example, how we feel about the wage structure is irrelevant as you're the ones demonstrating against sky money, not us

On the subject of Manchester clubs, surely United will struggle to comply this year?

Ahh, I see. So are they effectively under no FFP rules this year? Does that partly explain their copious spending this year?

Yes, Liverpool had the same benefit last year. There are FFP rules in the PL but they are more relaxed.

The UEFA rules limit losses to €45m over a three year period whereas in the PL it is £105m.

Q'uelle F@cking Surprise...

Funny that. As I said before, it's almost if the FFP rules and increasing longevity and value of parachute payments are designed to limit the ability of Championship (and below clubs) from getting into the Promised Land and spoiling their party.

At least most of the palace in here are finally admitting the kids in uniforms are tragic...

I agree it's good they sing but they chose the word 'ultras' to try & denote some sort of violence / intimidation aspect to them.. Of course it doesn't work FWIW...

Is this the same palace whose fans didnt turn up for Championship never mind lower league football? The same palace who struggled to find 10,000 to 14000 palace fans to walk through the door for say Barnsley at home but when its Spurs, well they scrape together 25000 (ok half of em are probably spurs but yknow). If it wasnt for Rupert Murdoch, Sky and the "premier league" then palace wouldnt even have a half decent crowd. Its not like they have a solid support that will support them in the lower leagues like Brighton or Pompey or Derby or Leeds. If they did then they might have point but they really are protesting against their own support.

You take a quote and make out of it whatever you want.

MOST if the palace on here have expressed how embarrassing they are now etc... Fact. You're on here an awful lot & popping up on a lot of Albion threads aren't you? Pipe down
