I know that new players have to sing a song in the changing room, but it's the first time I've heard of a player having to sing his own contract!

I sincerely hope that this post off a Fulham forum is bollox. Hopefully his passing of the ball is better than it sounds like his hoofing is :lolol:

I agree 100% it makes me laugh when people still refer to Stockdale as a youngster, he is what he is, he certainly won't get any better now, he's painfully shy for a keeper, he certainly doesn't command his area or his back four, which any top keeper has done in the past, his agility has always been an issue especially when a shot is low down, this isn't helped by his frame, he's always carried a bit of timber, and his distribution is awful especially when the ball is kicked along the ground to him to kick up field , 3 times against Palace he shanked the ball straight in to Block T of The Riverside stand,
All the managers at Fulham have had issues with him and they see far more of him than we do, either his agent or Fulham have let it be known that "England's Number 1" (As the Hammersmith End refer to him ) is possibly available and yet no top flight club have come in for him and only Brighton from our league, which tells you all you need to know,
If we signed Alex McCarthy from Reading, the Stockdale mourning on here would be over in 90 mins.

They were crying when they first heard he was going to be sold, now it's " he's shit" now he's gone.

One thing I've heard and read about him is how well he does command his box.

I'd ignore that bitter post. Plus 28 is still young for a keeper.

Funny, because:

(Fulham fan in the Metro)

"He has proven himself both reliable, dominant in his area and, above all, capable of the spectacular. The kind of spectacular that makes the difference between three points and one"

And (also Metro, another Fulham fan)

"Stockdale is one of the few players the fans feel actually wears the badge, and losing him unnecessarily could mean that the Fulham we all know and love might not be quite so recognisable come the start of the season"

I've read lots of posts by Fulham fans that echo this, so the rubbish above looks like the ramblings of a pissed of clown

Yup and yup. Typical reaction when a popular player leaves. Their fans are still crying and begging him not to leave on Twitter :lolol: Seems they are ****ing livid on losing one of their better players to little old Brighton.

At 28 he could have another 10 years ahead of him if he keeps himself in shape, and he should be hitting his peak around now.

My dogs taking me for a stumble now, when I get back it will be bloody wonderful if somebody has put pen to paper. It's already been a long day and it's only 3.00pm. ???
