I think we agreed it may backfire if we had a fully fledged Fans United Day too soon.

It is still scheduled for 29 Jan

But Richie's idea of a "Wear Red for Wrexham Day" is being widely accepted and I get the feeling that could come off VERY soon.

I am still planning to take in a Wrexham home game before Christmas (like we did at Donny) so if anyone (particularly Northern seagulls) could suggest an ideal Saturday, we could start planning it now

Will you assault them like you did the Leeds fans?

Unfortunately, some Leeds fans were attacked in Brighton pubs last Saturday. I have been asked to post the following message:

"Brighton police were delighted at the behaviour and constraint shown by Leeds fans who were innocent victims in this totally unprovoked attack, and applaud them. They say that they would be happy to welcome them back next season if the need arises!

However, whilst every effort will be made to make all charges stick against those thugs who have for some reason latched on to the name of Brighton and Hove Albion, we need help from any Leeds fans who were staying in the town over the weekend. If anyone heard or saw anything that might remotely help the charges being levied, would they please contact PC Darren Balkham (Brighton's FLO) direct on 01273 665518 (that is his direct line, not through the switchboard) and all calls will be on a strictly confidential basis. If anyone took photos which might help to incriminate anyone from Brighton, please let us have them."

To the White Rose, I'm sure you will find any Brighton fans will happily turn any of those people in. We don't (like yourself) want a reputation for trouble hope you enjoyed the visit to Withdean!

Since the first attack took place in the City Centre while most of us were at a football match some miles away, I think we can claim not to have been involved.

It's stating the bleedin' obvious to say more or less the same about the incident in the evening. "We" weren't there.

To the Leeds fan who doesn't give a toss if we get Falmer (somwhat essential to our survival), how long did it take you to come up with classics like: "every effort will be made to make all charges stick against those thugs" "If anyone took photos which might help to incriminate anyone from Brighton"? On second thoughts it is so bad and reads like a Sweeney script that maybe it was drafted by Sus Pol.
