Mid season, no manager or first team coaches. Who would have been the caretaker manager, who would have taken training ?
That's like saying if the first team left the youth team would have to take over. And what's the point of having the same philosophy through all age groups and development squad if you then ignore those coaches to bring some dinosaur in for a few games whilst you find a decent stop gap.

Not at the mix, just passing on what I was told today. It is second hand but came from a source identified with the club.

1. Apparently Poyet was badly treated by the club over his eventual sacking.
2. When the club thought Poyet was leaving for Reading, they approached Barry Lloyd to take temporary charge, he declined due to ill health.
3. Upson was offered a deal by the club to stay but it was 'derisory'.
4. PIG wanted to stay, but was not offered any type of deal.

I wont reveal my source, so don't ask. I'm not sure I believe it all, just putting it out there.

I know for a fact that your first 3 are absolutely rubbish.

So how many of those coaches were promoted internally when the positions became available ?

Sorry, what are the rules again? Thought this was a mid season emergency situation type scenario that would have demanded Sussex football's answer to Red Adare or whatever he was called.

Let's just say that it was all true shall we? Bit bored now.

Pig would have done himself a power of good by talking up the Albion, not banging on about the Premier League and having a nose dive in form at the sharp end of the season.

I believe Poyet would have been treated as a pariah at the end, I would have treated him the same way.

Not in the kitchen, just passing on what I overheard at my wife's coffee morning. It is second hand but came from a source identified within the village.

1. Apparently Annette was badly treated by the badminton club over her eventual banning.
2. When the club thought Annette was leaving for a rival club, they approached Evelyn to make a temporary foursome, she declined due to the fact she was shagging Annette's husband.
3. Sally was offered a deal by the club to stay but it was 'derisory'.
4. Fat Maureen wanted to stay, but was not offered any type of deal.

I wont reveal my source, so don't ask. I'm not sure I believe it all, just putting it out there.

Your point?

Your point?

Possibly, like much of your original post, it isn't plausible and should be treated as fiction. Based on what is known (ie in the public domain not BW's egotistical ramblings) then the fundamental points of your OP as written just don't stack up. Surprised you didn't think it through before posting.

So, I pass on some things that were said to me. Reproduced as told for discussion on of all things a football discussion site? Get flamed, because the content may or may not be true. Yep, NSC at its usual level.
