Derby weren't poor , they did counter attack really well first half , got the lead , then consolidated in the second . I felt you started well but you seem to lose momentum quite easily when put under pressure . In the second half you had a lot of the ball but lacked urgency in getting forward with ulloa isolated with no support . I feel if derby countered more they could have finished the tie tonight .
You are not out of it , score first up there and it's game on . But derby look a good side to me and look too strong for you . Honest view not a piss take .

They were hardly poor, they looked very dangerous on the counter, but in the end we gifted them a goal (what was Upson doing?) and they got a fairly lucky break with their second. 1 shot on target all game.

I was inline with the penalty, thought it was a dive, looked like the derby player played the defender, we had 2 better penalty calls not given, poor ref with no bottle. Derby I have to admit move the ball faster and more clinical passers. Jake Forster-Caskey was total shite, don't know how he starts instead of March.

Their penalty was nailed on - but so was the one on Calderon......

They looked much more dangerous going forward than us, even managed to score twice with only one shot on target.

Derby : One shot on target, two goals... says it all.

We were desperately unlucky today, hopefully we haven't blown it. All we need is to win at Derby now.

I agree. We hit the bar, it came out. They hit the bar it hit our goalie and went in. Two stonewall penalties, their was given, ours wasn't. Very fine lines.......

We're still in this. Our away form is much the same as our home form and they can't beat us every time they play us can they?

All to play for on Sunday.

Just seen the penalty incident on Sky, looked nailed on to me. It certainly changed the game.
Still believe we can make it, one goal down at half time, keep the faith.

They were not as shit as that challenge for their pealty or the ref. What was worse, the ref who misses all of our penalties or that shockingly shit challenge to let them get back in the game with a penalty. He has to be dropped for that.

Fair enough assessment of the game but you can still piss right off

Brighton let them back in when for reasons best known to the player he decided to dive in and clean out a Derby player running into traffic in the box. It doesnt help when a ref misses not one but two or maybe even three penalties for us. But it was that crap challenge that changed the game.

This may be the drink talking but I thought Derby were poor tonight, and we were unfortunate to lose. We tend to play better away this season so bring on Sunday.

Derby moved the ball around much quicker than us and with far more purpose. We just TROTTED forward for much of the time. Many of the balls that came in to the lone Albion striker were either over-hit or didn't clear the first man. If Derby were poor then we were poorer. Nevermind, Sunday's another day, maybe it'll all click for us on the day. wouldn't be the first time.
