Brez you are shit

But he was crap in that appalling FA cup defeat at Stoke a while back. Why should anyone be surprised tonight? He has never been very good under pressure.

Possibly the last time he'll play for us.

Thanks for everything, Pete, some good memories, and best wishes for the future.

I can't blame a player particularly a keeper from looking very rusty if he doesn't play very often.

I didn't like Poyet doing it and I don't like Garcia doing it either. If you are going to rotate the squad please please please don't have an FA Cup only keeper.

It's the perfect job for an experienced keeper trying to get back in the first team after being supplanted by a young upstart or falling out of favour.

Not the other way round.

Brezovan was rubbish at Stoke (knocked out of cup),
Brezovan was rubbish at Liverpool (knocked out of cup)
Ankergren was rubbish v Arsenal (knocked out of cup)
Brezovan was rubbish v Hull (knocked out of cup)

Anyone beginning to see a connection here?

Why do we insist on changing our keeper when it has resulted mistakes or general rubbish play being largely responsible for our cup exits over the last few years?

We had a great chance to progress this year but have just tossed it away.

How much have these clowns cost the club in revenue? Hope I never see the clowns act again. If Pig goes in the summer then Casper or Dozy Pete will be 1st - 2nd in the squad next season

Brezovan cost us the game tonight, end of. Defence had no confidence in him what so ever. Terrible decision to play him away from home in a game where the onus is on the home team to attack.

I wonder what input Harper had on our downfall tonight. Bruce must have been laughing his c#ck off when he heard brez was playing.

Thomas K is not the best keeper I have ever seen on crosses but he wouldn't have done what Brez did for that first and he has much quicker reactions so I reckon he could easily have stopped the 2nd. Jesus we see it often enough with TK don't we. I'm angry with the decision to play a third rate keeper against a premier side when we have an opportunity to progress. In reply to someone who reckons he was brilliant last Monday...... No he wasn't.

This is true, or atleast play the keeper in all cup competitions so they are getting fair few games... And dont let said keepers be CA or PB...

An unenforced unnecessary change (let's face it) given to a player with next to none match practice against superior opposition.

A game at this stage in the FA Cup is not one to be used for match practice.

Shame, a trait of the modern game. Championship managers copying Premier League managers with far superior squads.

Don't blame the player blame the person who selected him.

Watch the Stoke video gaffer and just stick in high crosses between the six yard box and the goal line. If an opposing manager doesn't know that about Brezovan he is not doing his job. Goes against the grain I know but I actually think Ankergren is a better big game keeper. But we all know TK should have played, Garcia made a serious mistake tonight, Brezovan has history AWAY from home in big games, picking him was a basic error that may have cost us millions of pounds.

Barber bangs on about FFP, but why do we insist on keeping two goalkeepers who are:
(a) shit
(b) old
(c) earn decent money
We should have TK as #1 with Walton on the bench. If PIG gets a long term injury, then get a loan in.
