Which detective/ busy body would likely catch you and cause you the most greif?
For me it has to be Jessica Fletcher, don't trust the lady, sharp as a tack and a right nosey old sod i'd loose my rag the first time she questioned me!

None of them - I don't think I've ever seen a detective programme where they didn't solve the crime, so I'd be 100% certain of being caught. Interesting that you'd lose your rag: I always wonder at those people in such programmes who shut the door in the policeman/woman's face saying "Now, if you don't mind, I've got things to do." If the police knocked on my door investigating a murder, I'd be as helpful as I could about my own movements and certainly wouldn't think that antagonising them would be the best way forward. But does this ever happen in real life?

The premise of the show is always one of the worst, it's the only detective show where the detective turns up BEFORE the crime occurs. If I was one of Aunt Jessica's multitudal nephews or nieces I would never invite her to any event within 30 miles of me as you know a death or two will happen.

To be fair, the local cops are always so dim wherever she goes, someone has to improve the crime-rate figures. The plods are always clowns who arrest everyone in sight (usually her nephews and nieces)
