One thing's a fact. I now want Reading to be relegated.

Why? - what have we done wrong?.......its just paper-talk, something to fill the column inches and for SSN for jizz over for 17 hours a day

Until something official is released, hold off with the Reading-bashing :ascarf:

Ok, the facts:

Those 'news'paper reports have been out for hours, and Gus is still 8/11 to go. It's clearly not the done deal they report it to be. If it was, someone would have some money on it, and the bookies would have stopped taking bets on Gus.

I am going to be royally pissed off if he goes (ps, can we ban anyone making stupid 'royally' comments)

Doesnt seem to take a lot of money to move the odds on those type of bets..judging from past stories

Poyet to Reading thread, massively odds on, (maybe) in talks with them [merged]

I've had a lot of people text me (mainly Palace fans who I just replied "3-0" to) to say that he's off, the rational ones that texted said that Di Matteo would probably be the replacement.

Oh and there is no change of info from my insider - because Gus is on holiday.

I'm surprised they're still taking bets, done deal IMO. It'll be interesting to see who Bloom gets in and how the new boss uses our world class players.

Ok, Barbados isn't exactly big is it. It only takes 45 minutes to fly around the entire island. You can bet your arse that Gus is staying somewhere near a beach in a s****y resort and you can probably also bet your arse that he's outside.

So, what we do is all chip in for the local flying school to circle the island towing a banner with a special message for Gus. I propose:

------~~~~~[GUS - DON'T YOU DARE - YOU'VE GOT A JOB TO DO]

He's staying at Sandy lane

Betcha

Hi guys,

Reading fan in peace.

While I'm excited about the prospect of having Poyet as our manager, I'm concerned it might be too much of a step up for him. McDermott's main failure was not being able to manage the big egos, and with Poyet only dealing with League One players, I'd worry about how he'd get on with the more established players.

Still, you play nice football from what I've seen, so it will be a welcome change.

Poyet's recent comment regarding Murray's exit speak volumes now. Especially(if true) taking into account what was mentioned in that Independent article. Maybe the relationship between Bloom and Gus isn't as great as some people might have thought.

How do the fans rate the owner?

League One players? You're right. We have no players who have played international football in our team. Let me know if any of your players have 38 caps for Spain. Hope you get relegated.

FAR too obvious, but nice try.

Don't be so sure it's a joke. One of the Reading fans in my office (only a fan this season, because they want see famous football players) Was shocked to find out that there was not a playoff for religation, I kid you not. Tin pot club with tin pot fans.
