Time to get rid of LuaLua...

Its All Too Beautiful
Whenever I've seen him play I can't help feeling he only has one trick up his sleeve. Great pace and thunderous shot but not convinced he's the real deal at a high level.

One trick pony, probably, yes he scored against Millwall, but reminds me of the guy in the playground who would always shoot on site irrespectives of where he is, even the refs are used to him trying to get free kicks. I'm not sure he is sharp enough mentally and doesn't see other players. although geat haircut and is the one player in the team that my dad can identify!

Predictably, he has a lot of car, for very little payback to the club/fans.

The modern footballer.

It's his fault that Gus never plays him then, naturally.

Been poor all season. Probably best for him to move on if he wants game time. Quality League One player, nothing special at this level.

This is complete nonsense. He had been playing well. For some reason Gus keeps picking an out of form Buckley ahead of him. No wonder KLL is frustrated. Not even brought on from the bench last night.

This poor all season does not wash, it doesn't take a genius to work out if you don't get a run in the side you are going to be poor, anyone can see Poyet has a problem with him, he doesn't get the same chances as other players do, One poor game and he turns into Lord Lucan, other players, and I'll mention no names so not to open up the old can of worms, can get away with prolonged periods of utter bollocks and others can get away with costing us games by losing their head in a childish fashion but they are rolled out week after week.

Can't believe we didn't bring him on for the last 20 last night.

Three away games in a short space of time gave Gus the perfect opportunity to rotate certain players. e.g Buckley and Lua Lua. With no Bridge and Bruno and Buckley totally ineffective, we have no wide threat. Hence nothing created.
Gus seems content with all this. I'm not and fear us sliding out the top six.

Lua Lua is only ever used when we are chasing a game.

The defensive side of his game dictates that.

At last a sensible post in this thread. Lua Lua will only get sporadic opportunities because his defensive play is so bad, he really doesn't seem to have improved enough in the last two seasons in this area. His other problem is his positioning and movement; he is fine if he can just stand way out on the left but you watch him when Bridge overlaps he looks like a lost puppy wandering around with no idea where to go. It is Kaz's failure to improve these aspects of his game that is holding him back, unless he skins the full back time and time again he offers nothing and we cannot afford to carry a player at this level.

We've disposed of enough talent ! don't get rid of another one for f---s sake!
He should be played more often now his personal issues are sorted.
