4 - with Barnesy back from suspension , CMS might become a benchwarmer for the remaining 15 games.

At the moment I prefer Barnes over CMS. The only problem is PACE. Poyet has built an INCREDIBLY SLOW team, and CMS and Buckley are the only ones with any pace (even LuaLua seemed to have lost it on Tuesday).

Barnes is not an out and out striker though and his scoring record is pretty dismall this year, He brings that bit of defence steel to the line up, but hey we dont frigging need that at the moment, we need goals and a lot of them, so CMS with Ulloa is the answer.

Seeing that we will never play to his strengths and his total inability to control a ball voted for 2 and as others have said probably leave in the summer

His record isn't dismal, he's hardly played up front at all, if played up front he will score. Worked well with Ulloa against Arsenal.

I've gone for four. I think with Hoskins out, there is now a real chance Ulloa, CMS, and Barnes can put in some work together with all three or two from three playing every week. We may finally get some continuity up front which could prove vital in the last five or six games.

I can't believe it only goes to 15+.

That's only 1 a game.

19 more will give him 30 in total, bish bosh job done.

The fact that 12 of those are going to come against Palace, will make it all the sweeter.

5. Because he isn't going to get much game time from here on in.

THink you're right but for the wrong reason. He's averaging roughly 1 goal in 3 games for the Albion. 5 more should therefore be about right IF he plays in all or most of our remaining matches. If he doesn't get much game time as you suggest, he'll probably get less

disagree. confidence player, he will get one, maybe off a shin and then they will fly in. you dont become a bad player over night. He will start with Ulloa and he will score goals and we will sing his name from the stands and he will walk off last clapping everyone whislt the thousands (left) will clap him back.

Bit like Kurt Nogan all those years ago

This.

CMS is good at trying to close down defenders with his frantic short choppy running style, but isn't a very good Championship footballer and striker, certainly not one worth £3.25m.
