I have been watching a few episodes this evening.

The First episode was 23 YEARS AGO.....JEEESUS CHRIST!! 1988

Also, i never knew that Danny John Jules who played the Cat appeared as a look out in the film Scum, although he was uncredited in the movie.

red dwarf is one of my favourites........even the recent ones when they are driving around corry looking for their creator , original , quirky, humour .......kryton is a crack-up.

I just looked up Red Dwarf on IMDB and it seems that there is a full 10th season of 6 episodes planned for next year. I had no idea!

Wasn't Kryten basically a rip off of Frazier from his Cheers days? Very good though. Chris Barrie was superb too. Very under estimated comic actor both in red dwarf and the brittas empire.

Yep. I watched 15 mins of series 7 & that was me done. Refused to spoil the comical genius of the first six series & the good name of Red Dwarf with the poor excuse of the 7th series & beyond... As far as I was concerned. I missed tonight's episode but I'm willing to give it a go at some point though

I love love love red dwarf. But I much preferred the early years when it was just rimmer and lister all alone in deep space sitting on their bunk beds taking the piss out of each other with the occasional quip or pratfall from the cat or kreyton

'Out of Time' was my favourite RD episode ever.....to say what came after was a disappointment would be somewhat of an understatement (although I didn't watch RDX).

The lines about the Swedish driver and the moose - you could see the punchlines coming a mile off, but they were still superbly done.

Can someone help me out here, I think I have missed out a whole series, was the last series before back to earth when the nanos recreated red dwarf and all the crew? or was there one after that which I would of missed.
