I'm sick of seeing Zaha this and that all over this bored lately, I think Caskey has a lot of potential to be a Premier league player in a couple of years time, f*** Zaha, love Caskey !

2 goals in 3 games for the first team last season wasn't it?

BG is right though - depending on how we develop the squad, Gus will have to make a big decision whether to keep Jake as an integral member with the opportunity to get playing time as a sub or as a starter in cup games or to let him go out on loan to get game time and experience.

I don't think it's a call you can make just yet - it depends so much on being able to plan how much game time we can guarantee him and weigh it against the experience he might gain elsewhere and whether a suitable loan club can be found. No point in him going out and sitting on the bench in League 1 when he can do that here because his loan team want to play a long ball rather than a passing game.

Is he as good as Zaha?

potentially as good and maybe much better. Because he plays centrally and is more involved in the game than Zaha he has the potential to be influential more consistently.
Both can score goals but Caskey to his credit so far has shown a willingness to stay on his feet and play football in marked contrast to the clown prince of of football theatrics who is never happier than when throwing himself on the ground whenever an opponent approaches. At some point the authorities are going to outlaw willful and unnecessary contact (with the ground) and Zahahaha will have to focus on his undoubted footballing ability. I can't help thinking though that it will detract from his game as it has become such a central component of his rise to footballing attentionP

f*** off is something I try to reserve, on here at least, for the Palace twats.

I don't go on their sites but they really must be desperately bad for the poor sad bastards to spend all their lives on here. Even then I don't really understand their mentality. Most of them are clearly children and hopefully as they mature they will grow out of infantile behaviour but some of them are clearly adults FFS!
Unbelievable!

JFC is a natural fit for the role that it looks like Vicente will be vacating. Looked a class act in his run of games last season

stranger things have happened but another year at the feet of the master would have been ideal. My feeling is that if Vicente returns then JFC will stay to learn alongside him but if Vicente goes to Elche we will possibly be more likely to see Jake go out on loan. It may seem counter-intuative that when there is a chance he could appear more often for us he is potentially more likely to be loaned out but I reckon that without el Punal, Gus will opt for bringing in experience

Spadge just asking JFC on Twitter where he was today. If not in training maybe off talking about a possible loan move? Pure supposition of course.................................

Really weird how he was taken out of the team so quickly, I appreciate why he was subbed off versus Newcastle? he wasn't stepping up against the PL players but he had a couple of cracking games otherwise and was well worth being player particularly as our season petered out.
