I'll be there. Keen to support Michel. Keen to see any new signings. Expect there's a better chance of quite a few Reading fans too (as opposed to a Dutch side).

Hope they get the prices right to ensure maximum revenue for Michel.
Averaged 1000 last season and were champions, you really think reading will bring many to a testimonial ?

Terrible match for his testimonial:(

I don't think we need opponents. Surely a "Team Kuipers" featuring some of the legends would be in order? Vs a Brighton team including Gus and Taricco.

Team Kuipers
Kuipers
Watson Cullip Butters Mayo
Brooker Rodgers Oatway Currie
Zamora Knight

Legendary. And Leon Knight. :lolol:

No. They can wear a kit of their choosing, preferrably one of the away kits. :lolol:

Also, I feel like such a bastard for forgetting Gary Hart. Sorry Leon, do one son.

some fans have their heads up their arse, expecting big clubs to just jump for the chance to come for a testimonal of one of our players. Gary Hart got championship side Charlton so dont see whats wrong with recently promoted Reading. Only disappointment for me is Tuesday, hope thats not right as it will impact the attendance a great deal.

Err, so you believe that everyone who plays pro football has the devine right to 'retire' at 35 and never work again?

Unfortunately for people of my age, we are likely to still be paying our mortgage well into our 60s and working into our 70s. I'm not bitter, but like FDM, I am not on 150k a week.

I think Stat Brother's post had a hint of sarcasm to it. As I'm pretty sure that FDM was not on a £150k a week. Very much doubt we've ever paid any player that sort of money for a weeks wage

I'm not bothered about the opposition. I'll go because seeing Michel run out at The Amex is something we should be enjoying every week even now, but Poyet has ensured it will only be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. My advice is make sure you do not miss out on perhaps the only thing that will ever happen at The Amex to rival the emotion of Buckley's goal against Doncaster.

You don't think Albion getting promoted to the Premier League will be intensely emotional?
