It was very funny bar the Linneker effort at the end.

There is a great clip somewhere of the crowd following Merv Hughes warming up at a test match on the boundary which is hilarious.

Not quite so - The booing of Ramsey only started when Arsenal fans started chanting at Shawcross. If they can't take it don't dish it.

As for the tackle there was no intent and it was Ramsey that was off the ground

Stoke fans should rise above it and should of cheered shawcross to counter the arsenal boos.

They really are a disgusting bunch of people! I can't wait for them to be relegated.. And as for their pikey manager...

So its alright to try and destroy the confidence and character of a player (Shawcross) like Wenger and Ramsey did is it?

What would you do if Arsenal fans were booing an Albion player?

Well that's a playground way of looking at it, just cause the other supporters are being twats doesn't mean carte blanche is given to do the same. Rising above it would've sent a bigger message but I suspect that as far as football crowds go we're quite some way from that (I include myself in that as well, easy to get carried away in a crowd)...here's hoping!

Is there some law against booing Arsenal Players then or is it just Ramsey?

I'm pretty sure they were not booing the fact he broke his leg but more the fact that he backed up the rantings of Wenger that Shawcross deliberately tried to hurt Ramsey.

There aren't many players that go out to do harm to opponents and I'm sure Shawcross didn't, In fact I would say that Ramsey was more in the wrong on THAT tackle. Wenger started the claim to protect his darlings when they were having a bad run. I'm all for managers supporting their players but to try and damage another players character is pretty nasty in itself.

Errr sorry where did I say Ramsey said Shawcross did it deliberately?

After the match Wenger did his usual thing of not seeing anything his darlings did but also went on to say that other teams (inferring Stoke and Shawcross) deliberately went out to injure his players. The truth was that the referee wasn't even going to give a foul and at first the horrible injury was not apparent even proved that it was the Stoke players that rushed to help Ramsey while the Arsenal and especially Fabregas immediately went to the ref and asked for a card. When Ramsey was carried off the ref probably due to the effect of the injury and the protestations of Wenger and Arsenal sent Shawcross a red card.

After the match the footage shows that both players went in for the tackle and most people can see that Ramseys feet are off the ground but it was mainly just bad timing and Ramsey coming off worst but that would not look good on Wenger to admit it so he refused to say any more and it has been suggested that Ramsey was told not to say anything and also not to acknowledge the fact that it might have been bad luck.

Of course the media loved all this and the facts get lost in the fuss especially the facts that Arsenals disciplinary and foul stats are the worst in the division and as media darlings Arsenal players like Ramsey and Wiltshire couldn't possibly be at fault.

Anyway its not like we ever boo anyone like Bellamy so people in Glasshouses and all that
